Jesse Plemons has revealed exactly how much weight he lost after his dramatic transformation.
The 36-year-old Power of the Dog star – who earlier this month denied taking the diabetes drug Ozempic – lost a whopping 50 pounds.
“I’m not carrying another 50 pounds,” he said Entertainment tonight at the Thursday evening premiere of his new film Kinds of Kindness.
The father-of-two, who is married to Kirsten Dunst, said he has ‘much more energy’ now that he has slimmed down.
“Like I said, I have young kids, so I have to keep up with them,” he noted of sons Ennis, six, and James, three.

Plemons further noted that he gradually lost the extra weight “over the course of about a year and a half.”
It comes after Plemons last week insisted he was not taking the popular weight-loss drug Ozempic.
He told the Los Angeles Times: ‘It’s really a shame that I decided to get healthy when everyone else decided to take Ozempic. It does not matter. Everyone will think I took Ozempic.’
The Texas native continued, “Several people talked to me about intermittent fasting and I just tried it [was] amazed at how quickly it was effective.
Referring to his role in Civil War alongside Dunst, he said: “There was a part I did that in my mind I couldn’t imagine being as big as me. I lost a little bit before I did that part.”
Jesse added, “And then I felt like I was in the rhythm, I felt better and something changed in my head. I have some control over it.’
Kirsten and Jesse met while playing an on-screen couple on the FX series Fargo in 2014. They became a real-life couple in 2016.
‘Because we fell in love with a set, we fell in love creatively first. I think we’ll always come back to that in a way that has nothing to do with our real lives,” she said Marie Claire in March.

She said about her husband in the interview: ‘I enjoy working with him.’
‘The nice thing is that we trust each other so much. He sent me a scene from the miniseries he’s working on last night to get my opinion,” Dunst noted of their tendency to lean on each other.
‘If I find it difficult to decide on something, I let him read it. I trust his opinion more than anyone else, and he cares about me more than anyone else,” she emphasized.
And noting their similarities in cinema, she said, “We hate the same things.”
