Married At First Sight’s Jesse Burford Reveals The Producer’s Bad Editing Plot To Make It Look Like He Reunited With His Ex Claire Nomarhas On Reunion Episodes
Married At First Sight star Jesse Burford has again criticized producers for his “false editing” during the reunion episodes.
The 30-year-old Perth wedding celebrant clarified comments he made about reuniting with his ex-‘wife’ Claire Nomarhas in his hometown of Perth in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
Jesse revealed the show’s sneaky editing tactics to make it look like Claire traveled to Western Australia to be with him.
“Just one thing to clarify: the whole ‘she’s coming to Perth’ thing,” he wrote.
“Claire said she’s coming to Perth for the UFC and Lyndall’s birthday party – not because she wanted to explore romantically with me, hahaha.”

Jesse added that Claire didn’t even go to the events in Perth.
Despite the edits, Jesse said he’s happy with how the episode turned out.
“I’m very happy with the finale, aside from the ‘Perth’ implications – it was pretty accurate,” he wrote.
“No idea why they didn’t send out Brontë and Haz. You didn’t see Shannon and Caitlin (which was absolutely brutal) or Josh and Mel either.”
He also revealed Taylah Winter and Hugo Armstrong’s moment on the couch was not filmed.
Jesse also took aim at the MAFS producers after his edit at Sunday’s dinner party.
“Almost everything I say about Claire that night has been expertly edited to give the impression that there’s still a chance for us,” he said.

He admitted that producers “stitched” his lines together and said the tone of his voice changed as a result of the editing trick.
“Claire and I definitely didn’t talk every day,” he said.
“I actually spent the entire ride to the reunion talking about how I wasn’t too keen on seeing Claire or Adam and I just wanted to be alone that night,” he continued.
He went on to say that the pair were polite to the cameras and only spoke twice during the night.
“Claire said she’s coming to Perth for the UFC and Lyndall’s birthday party – not because she wanted to explore romantically with me hahaha”
He ended by saying that he didn’t have a best friend during the experiment and no one understood him.
“Ultimately, my honesty/integrity is not what should be questioned, because I will always tell you the truth, clarify things and make things right,” he said.
A day earlier, Jesse revealed his heartbreak in his Nine audition tape for the show.
He was candid during the clip, saying the breakup was “probably the worst thing” he’s ever experienced.
Jesse was linked to Claire in the current season and while it didn’t work out for the pair, the long-haired music lover said he gave it his all
“We were so in love with each other that we just jumped right in,” he said in the footage shared by Nine.
He said the relationship lasted two years and was not healthy from the start.
