A popular TV presenter who worked with Channel Ten red carpet star Jesse Baird has been left ‘shocked’ by his sudden disappearance after sharing an office with him for years.

Baird and his Qantas Flight attendant boyfriend Luke Davies goes missing from the TV producer’s Paddington home Sydney‘s east.

Mr Davies, 29, was said to have been with Mr Baird, 26, in Paddington on Monday, but the pair have disappeared and Mr Davies’ family have been unable to contact him.

Stacey Thomson, known as ‘Ranger Stacy’ from the Network 10 show Totally Wild, worked with Mr Baird on the children’s programme.

“I worked with Jesse for a few years and we sat across from each other in the TW office,” she told Daily Mail Australia.

‘I’m actually shocked. He was a great work friend, always professional and eager to learn.”

A major search is now underway to find the missing couple after their blood-stained clothes were dumped in a bin in Cronulla, Sydney’s south, on Wednesday morning. Police declared Mr Baird’s home a crime scene.

Police rushed to Mr Baird’s home in Paddington, 20 miles away, where a suspected ‘large amount of blood’ was found, including blood-stained furniture.

The manhunt began. About 11am on Wednesday, a pile of the couple’s bloody clothes were found 30km away in a large bin behind Club Cronulla, in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.

Detectives are said to be looking for Mr Baird to find out if he can shed light on the whereabouts of his partner after Mr Davies’ home in Waterloo was also found to be empty.

Police said they have ‘serious concerns’ about Mr Davies and urged anyone with information to come forward.

Mr Davies last updated his social media five days ago with a series of photos on Instagram of himself in the mountains around Vancouver, Canada.

Three days ago, Mr Baird posted photos of the couple at Pink’s concert in Sydney two weeks ago.

Mr Baird left his role as producer/presenter at Studio Ten in January after three years, when it was axed by the network late last year.

He had previously worked as a producer/presenter on Ten’s Totally Wild! show for four years, as well as a seven-month stint as host for Gamify! for the network in 2019.

Forensic experts searched his home in Brown Street, Paddington, overnight after the alarm was first raised at around 1pm on Wednesday.

A local resident told Daily Mail Australia police pulled furniture from the house and onto the street on Wednesday evening as they searched the scene.

“There were some bookshelf-like things and they were cordoned off,” she said.

‘There was no soft furnishings (beds or sofas) and I don’t know what they did with them.’

Chief Inspector Jodi Radmore, commander of the Eastern Suburbs PAC, said neighbors reported shouting at Paddington’s house early on Monday morning.

Credit cards, wallets and a mobile phone were found among bloodied clothes in the container in Cronulla, she said.

“There has been some incident that most likely occurred at the Paddington address which has caused us great concern about one, possibly both,” she said.
