Jesse Baird and accused killer cop Beau Lamarre-Condon are seen together at family party – as it emerges his housemate ‘prodded bodies allegedly hidden under tarpaulin in courtyard’

Jesse Baird attended a birthday party with accused murder cop Beau Lamarre-Condon less than a year before his alleged murder – as police documents reveal the ex-Channel 10 star’s housemates poked his body as it lay under a tarp.

The bodies of Mr Baird, 26, and his flight attendant friend Luke Davies, 29, were left in the courtyard of his rented Paddington townhouse for several hours after the pair were allegedly shot dead by Lamarre-Condon, 28, on February 19.

According to police documents, a female roommate came to one of the two surfboard bags, covered with a blue tarp, around 5:40 p.m.

She told police that the contents “felt lumpy, not like there was a surfboard in there” and that she also noticed red-colored paving stones under the bags.

The woman assumed the tiles were stained by beet juice spilled by Mr. Baird, who was known to his fellow tenants as “messy,” the documents said.

The roommates exchanged messages and took photos of the tarpaulin-covered bags and a blood-stained outdoor lounge, police allege.

It comes as a new photo emerges of Mr Baird and Lamarre-Condon attending the 60th birthday party of his mother, Coleen Lamarre.

The photo, which shows both men smiling in smart party shirts, was taken less than a year before Lamarre-Condon would be charged with Mr. Baird’s murder.

Mr Baird and Lamarre-Condon had previously had a relationship which police described as an “on and off” romance, but Mr Baird had not wanted to pursue a relationship.

The pair were pictured smiling side by side at the Balmain Sailing club in Sydney’s west during the party in March 2023.

Police allege Lamarre-Condon arrived at Mr Baird’s terrace in Paddington armed with his NSW Police weapon on the morning of February 19.

He is said to have shot Mr Baird and Mr Davies at around 9.50am.

Lamarre-Condon is then said to have collected the bodies from the Paddington house 12 hours later in a white rental van and taken them to a remote farm in Bungonia, about 180km south-west of Sydney.

It is alleged that the lead officer then returned to the location to move the bodies to another location in Bungonia, approximately 20 minutes’ drive away.

Human remains of Mr Davies and Mr Baird were discovered on Tuesday afternoon, packed in surf bags and buried in a shallow forest grave.

Lamarre-Condon is currently at Silverwater Correctional Complex, in Sydney’s west.

His case is in court.
