Jess Glynne has revealed that her new music is much more “vulnerable” to her past hits, as she opened up before releasing her latest song after a three-year hiatus.
The 33-year-old singer said she has “been through a lot in her personal life and career” in recent years, which has allowed her to “grow” as a person.
She admitted that she “still gets nervous” before taking the stage and putting out new songs because she “has to hope people love it.”
Jess spoke exclusively to MailOnline before taking the stage at the British Grand Prix Launch Party at Silverstone, revealing that her new material ‘gives her a certain feeling’ while performing.
She said, “The new stuff is fragile. I’ve been through a lot in my career and personal life and that has definitely taught me a lot and grown from it. I think the songs show that and what I’ve been through a little bit.

“I’m excited, I love this new song coming out this Friday. However, I get nervous about everything, nervous about going on stage for the release.
“I think that’s normal, but show that I care. I think it’s been 5 years, which is a long time.’
The hitmaker, who released her new dance single “What Do You Do?” releases. discussed on Friday how it feels to hold the record for the most number one records in the UK by a female artist.
She gushed: ‘It’s mad at me. Anyone who understands you is like, are you kidding, I never explain anything with expectation.
“You have to put it in people’s hands and see what happens, you don’t get to choose what happens to it, you have to hope people love it.”
“I hope people like this new one, because I really like it, it gives me a certain feeling.”
The Grammy winner also revealed that she has three career highlights, including performing on the Pyrimid stage in Glastonbury and at the BRIT Awards.
She added, “That’s so hard you know, there are some moments. When I did Glastonbury that was a crazy moment which was crazy for me as a lot of people were unreal.

“For so many people to sing your songs was fucking insane. Winning a Grammy was insane as what the hell is going on.
‘My performance at the BRITS. I think those three things stand out and have two number one albums.”
During the evening at Silverstone, Jess looked nothing short of sensational as she took the stage to perform in a black leather bralette and trousers.
The Hold My Hand singer showed off her toned midriff in the crop top with large front zips and a silver chain halter neck.
She paired the ensemble with black tie-dye distressed jeans that donned a large cutout around her waist.
Jess seemed in good spirits as she performed an energetic set for 45,000 Formula 1 fans as the sunset fell over the track.
She rocked striking black sunglasses as she danced across the stage and opted for a pair of leather gloves.
The beauty completed her stage look by styling her auburn locks into luxurious waves as they fell down her bust.
The star-studded event also saw singer Cat Burns and DJ Calvin Harris take the stage, followed by an epic fireworks display to officially open the 2023 Formula 1 Aramco British Grand Prix.
The new music offering at this year’s Formula 1 Aramco British Grand Prix will see Silverstone deliver four massive nights of live music and entertainment at no extra cost to existing ticket holders.
Festival powerhouses Jax Jones, Black Eyed Peas and Tom Grennan will also take the stage to perform throughout the weekend.
