Jesinta Franklin reveals why life is different after she relocated her family to Queensland following husband Buddy’s AFL departure
Jesinta Franklin has told how she is settling into life on the Gold Coast after her husband Buddy Franklin left the AFL last year.
Speaking to the Courier mailthe 32-year-old model said she and Buddy, 37, are enjoying a slower lifestyle with their two young children after moving from Sydney.
‘It’s nice to relax for a while. Nineteen years was a lot and we are literally enjoying life, no pressure, no stress,” she said.
“Lulu starts preparing next year, so we have that precious time with the kids.”
She then revealed that her husband had taken up a new hobby to keep himself busy: tennis.

“There’s something very frustrating about Bud: whatever sport he does, he’s really good at it,” she joked.
Buddy, meanwhile, told the publication that he is “feeling good” and “a lot less stressed” now that he has more time to spend with his family.
Despite parting ways with his $10 million contract with the Sydney Swans in August, Buddy and Jesinta certainly won’t be in trouble anytime soon.
Speaking to the Courier Mail, the 32-year-old model said she and Buddy, 37, are enjoying a slower lifestyle with their two young children after moving from Sydney.
Not only does the couple make a lot of money thanks to lucrative endorsement deals, they also have a lavish $9 million mansion on the Gold Coast, where they are reportedly moving permanently.
Much of Buddy and Jesinta’s wealth comes from their brand power, with the pair acquiring a slew of lucrative sponsorships over the years.
A former Miss Universe Australia, Jesinta has collaborated with the likes of Cadbury, Dior, Lancome, Seafolly swimwear, Swisse vitamins, Olay skincare, Armani Beauty and more.
Buddy has followed in his wife’s footsteps by landing a number of major endorsement deals himself over the years.
The couple married in 2016 and have two children: Tullulah, three, and Rocky, two.
