Nothing to say?: Jes Staley is accused of hiding important information about Epstein’s sex trafficking operation

He will be questioned Thursday and Friday by lawyers for JP Morgan, who have charged him with “intentional and outrageous conduct” for withholding important information about the deceased pedophile.

The U.S. bank is being sued by the government of the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Epstein had an island, for claiming to turn a blind eye to Epstein’s operation.

But JP Morgan sued Staley, claiming he should be “solely liable” for any damages that should be paid because he breached his duty of care as a senior executive. JP Morgan accuses Staley, 66, of breach of fiduciary duty, among other charges.

Staley, who stepped down as Barclays boss in 2021, has denied any involvement in Epstein’s alleged crimes. JP Morgan was asked to comment.
