Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick pleads guilty to disorderly conduct 4 months after domestic violence arrest

Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct following her domestic violence arrest in June.

Pivarnick, 38, had pleaded not guilty to assault and resisting arrest following an alleged domestic violence incident at the $1.3 million New Jersey mansion she shares with fiancé Vinny Tortorella – with DailyMail.com exclusively revealing that the criminal case was previous week was rejected.

According to the Asbury Park Presson October 2, a judge ruled for a ‘conditional dismissal of the disorderly conduct charge, meaning the charge will be dismissed if Pivarnick meets certain requirements over the next year.

Her guilty plea will also be expunged from her record as long as she remains in compliance.

The details of the conditional discharge have not been disclosed.

At the victim’s request, the prosecutor filed a motion to dismiss four other charges: obstruction of justice, resisting arrest, simple assault and criminal mischief, the newspaper said.

The reality star’s lawyer, James Leonard, told DailyMail.com exclusively on Tuesday: ‘We are pleased to report that all original charges against Angelina have been dismissed by the court today.

‘She admitted causing a minor disturbance in her own home that night. That is the entirety of what we recognized in the Court and the Court accepted that as a factual basis for disorder.

“This conduct as described does not constitute a criminal offense in the State of New Jersey. We are very happy with this result and she is grateful that the matter is now behind her.’

Leonard confirmed to DailyMail.com that Pivarnick must stay out of trouble for a year and pay a $583 fine.

The reality star was arrested on Sunday, June 2 at 11pm following a visit from Freehold Township police, DailyMail.com reported after attending a virtual court hearing on Tuesday, July 23.

She was charged with “simple assault, criminal mischief, obstruction of justice and resisting arrest,” a county clerk said during the virtual hearing.

When police responded to Pivarnick’s home, she committed “an act of obstruction by intentionally running away from uniformed officers in an attempt to rush into a home, lock the door and prevent police from conducting a domestic violence investigation would carry out violence,” the signed complaint said. by one of the responding officers, via the Asbury Park Press.

The complaint also alleges that the reality star pulled her arms away from officers and refused to follow their commands after she was taken into custody.

The victim’s name was redacted from the complaint, but it said he suffered “physical injuries,” allegedly sustained by Pivarnick “hitting him with her hands/fists, some scratches, redness and pain complaints to the victim’s hands caused.’

That alleged injury formed the basis for Pivarnick’s simple assault charge, and she was also charged with criminal mischief, after police alleged she “struck the victim’s vehicle with her hands, causing damage less than $500 .’

The victim allegedly gave officers a statement about the alleged attack on his vehicle and presented them with video of that incident, the outlet reported.

Pivarnick was never taken to jail, but was instead released on summons and booked.

Pivarnick purchased the four-bedroom, five-bathroom property in October 2021, following her divorce from Chris Larangeira in January 2021.

She started dating Tortorella in 2022 after they connected over social media. The couple got engaged in 2023.

Their proposal was documented in an April 2023 episode of MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation — a revival of the hit reality series Jersey Shore — which aired in 2018.

Months later, Page Six reported that Angelina called the police on Vinny after an alleged altercation at her home.

The publication obtained a police report showing that Angelina called 911 after an alleged incident of domestic violence in August.

However, when police arrived on the scene, the reality star declined to press charges against Tortorella.

A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed by Page Six revealed that a “criminal investigative report” had been prepared in light of the alleged altercation.

Pivarnick’s attorney told the publication at the time, “I can confirm that Angelina did indeed call the police to her home.” After speaking with officers, Angelina decided not to press charges.

‘This case is now closed. In the future, Angelina would request privacy when it comes to her personal life,” he added.

Tortorella’s attorney, Elizabeth Rozin-Golinder, also told the publication that nothing has changed in the couple’s relationship status as they are still engaged.

“My client and Ms. Pivarnick are still engaged and still living together,” she explained. ‘Sir. Tortorella denies any act of impropriety that would justify police involvement and denies that domestic violence occurred.

“No charges have been filed against my client by Ms. Pivarnick or the police. I ask that his privacy be respected in this regard,” she said.
