Jersey Shore: Family Vacation heads south to film in Florida as cast checks in at Orlando’s Margaritaville Resort
The Jersey Shore cast members enjoy some fun in the sun after being spotted filming the new series in Florida.
Several of the stars of the long-running reality series were spotted checking into Orlando’s Margaritaville Resort this week, as depicted in photos obtained by TMZ on Friday.
The photos show Deena Cortese and Vinny Guadagnino at the reception, and they were followed by a camera crew, indicating that they are filming their reality series.
Also joining them was long-absent star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, whose return to the series was announced last month.
The trio were all dressed in matching pink T-shirts that read “Family Fun Trip” on the back.

A video posted to Twitter showed more of the cast enjoying the Florida sunshine.
The group was seen in less touristy attire and backpacks as they left their resort and headed for a huge swimming pool.
People at the resort told TMZ that the cast spent all week in Margaritaville filming Jersey Shore.
The group also reportedly rented a pool for a private party, though it wasn’t clear if that was to tape the show or just for a party.
Notably, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi have not been seen in any of the latest photos or footage.
However, The Situation was pictured with the group in a tweet Wednesday.
The group, including Sammi, was seen at Reggiano’s restaurant in Celebration, a suburb of Orlando.
News of the new shooting location comes after it was announced that Sammi would be rejoining the cast 10 years after she last appeared on Jersey Shore.

MTV teased her appearance on the hit reality TV series with a green screen photo that appeared to be part of a confessional interview.
“She’s still the sweetest b***h you’ll ever meet,” read the caption below the photo, a nod to her original catchphrase from the show.
Fans were thrilled at the news, with one writing: ‘This is so f***** iconic.’ Another added, “This is going to break the internet.”
Jersey Shore premiered in 2009 and succeeded housemates Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Pauly DelVecchio Angelina Pivarnick, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Giancola.
