Jerry Seinfeld’s brutal comeback to pro-Palestine hecklers at his Melbourne comedy show: ‘You just gave more money to a Jew’

Jerry Seinfeld has once again silenced pro-Palestinian protesters at one of his Australian comedy shows after the group began harassing him while he was on stage.

The comedian was performing stand-up in front of thousands of fans at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday night when he encountered a handful of pro-Palestinian hecklers.

Towards the end of his set, the group began singing “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

In response to the interruption, Seinfeld immediately hit back at the protesters who had paid to attend his show.

“I think you should go back and say to whoever runs your organization, ‘We just gave more money to a Jew,’” he said, as the crowd erupted with laughter and applause.

‘That can’t be a good plan for you.

“You need to come up with a better plan.”

The demonstrators were then escorted from the arena by police.

Earlier in the evening, just over a dozen Palestinian supporters were seen outside the venue holding signs reading “F**k Jerry Seinfeld.”

There was also a heavy police presence with officers manning the entrances to the arena.

It comes after the comedian was harassed during one of his shows in Sydney on Tuesday night.

The legendary comedian was performing his second show at the ICC Sydney Theater when two men stood up and started singing “free Palestine” while waving the Palestinian flag, in footage captured by the Australian Jewish Association.

They were also heard calling him a ‘hack’ and a ‘fraud’.

The crowd quickly responded with boos and it wasn’t long before the TV veteran took aim at the hecklers.

‘You’re doing great. You’re getting them on your side, can you hear it? It works,” Seinfeld, 70, said as security arrived to handle the situation.

‘You have strong political feelings, but you don’t know where to express them.

“You think ruining the night doesn’t bother me. All these people, you’re ruining their evening.’

Seinfeld, who is Jewish, made a solidarity visit to Israel in late 2023. He also met with families of hostages kidnapped by Hamas.

He has said that he will always stand by the side of Israel and the Jewish people.

Another incident occurred last Sunday night at Qudos Bank Arena when an audience member interrupted Seinfeld with a provocative chant.

As he performed for the crowd, the heckler shouted, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

The outburst sparked immediate reaction from the crowd, who demanded the protester leave before chanting “Jerry, Jerry.”

Security quickly intervened and escorted the heckler out as the crowd erupted in boos.
