Former Tottenham and England star Jermaine Jenas will become the new host of Formula E coverage after the series struck a deal to broadcast races on TNT Sports next season.
The ex-midfielder will be joined by regular Formula E presenter Nicki Shields and Radzi Chinyanganya as part of a new team, starting with the first race in Mexico City on January 13.
Jenas said he had developed a real love affair with the sport since hanging up his boots and was relishing the 'incredible' opportunity.
“Since I retired from football I never thought I would find a sport I loved so much, but Formula E is a sport like no other,” he said.
“I couldn't be more excited to take on this incredible presenting role and travel the world with such amazing teams. Being in front of the camera and sharing that energy and action with viewers is a whole new challenge and adrenaline rush for me and I'm really looking forward to it.”
