Jermain Defoe appeared closer than ever with his girlfriend Alisha LeMay on Tuesday as they enjoyed a romantic date in London’s Hampstead.

The former England footballer, 40, who recently sparked engagement rumors with the personal shopper, 31, was spotted strolling around the leafy village.

Alisha has been linked to Jermain since the beginning of the year, just weeks after his marriage to Donna Tierney fell apart. Donna has since accused him of cheating on her during their short-lived union.

But when he stepped out with his new girlfriend, the sportsman wore a white Dior T-shirt with gray leather pants and white sneakers.

Meanwhile, Alisha showed off her toned midriff in a khaki crop top that she paired with loose-fitting black jeans.

She also carried a black Chanel bag in her arm and completed her look with casual black and white sneakers.

The pair seemed relaxed and at ease with each other as they strolled down the main street, stopping at a crepe stand to grab a bite to eat.

PDA was certainly not lacking between the couple in love, as Jermain put his arm around Alisha as they strolled down the main street.

In an explosive Instagram post in March, heartbroken ex Donna, 40, shared a photo of a card accusing the love rival of making a “desperate” attempt to win her husband’s affection.

The card read: ‘Work hard, happy 40th birthday my beauty, I’d bake you a cake if I knew how to use the oven 🙂 can’t wait to do life with you.

Jermain turned 40 on October 7 last year, four months after he tied the knot with Donna in a lavish £200,000 wedding.

Donna said of the note, “Marriage is for living with someone.”

Another post was a selfie shared by Alisha with the caption, “Eh, obviously I know I’m the better option.”

Jermain, who married Donna last summer, spent Christmas on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia while Donna was back in frigid Glasgow.

Jermain – who played for a range of clubs over a 22-year career, including Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Sunderland and Rangers – was photographed on holiday without his wedding ring, while Donna went back to using her maiden name.

The last photo she posted to social media with Jermain was when the pair dressed up for a night out with friends on Oct. 30.

She then unfollowed her husband on social media and both deleted images from the OK! Magazine cover showing their £200,000 wedding last June.

In June, Jermain and his new girlfriend sparked engagement rumors on Saturday when she wore a striking new ring to a date night in London.

They are also reportedly moving in together in a £3 million mansion in Hertfordshire, according to The sun.
