Jeremy Renner returns to Reno hospital where he was treated for near-fatal snow plow accident one year later: ‘Forever in your debt’
Jeremy Renner was in a grateful mood as he visited staff at a Reno hospital a year after they treated him for a near-fatal snowplow accident.
The Marvel star, 52, took his Instagram to share photos of the joyful event, including him riding in an ambulance, meeting doctors and nurses and hanging out with first responders.
“Roll through Reno, NV with joy, blessings and pizza!!!!”, he wrote. 'I stopped by to see children/superheroes, first responders and doctors, nurses and staff at the renowned hospital. To pay my respects and celebrate love, life and the blessings it brings to all of us.
“Thank you and this community for keeping me here. I am forever grateful to you.'
On New Year's Day 2023, Renner suffered fractures in more than 30 bones and underwent several medical procedures after an incident in which his snow plow accidentally rolled over him.

The surprise stop at the hospital comes a few weeks after he shared a video showing off his physical therapy efforts after suffering leg injuries from the accident.
In the clip, Jeremy can be seen running on a treadmill as he picks up the speed, while the person filming it can be heard shouting words of encouragement.
As the action star turns off the machine and the rehab session comes to an end, his friend can be heard saying, “Dude, that's so impressive.”
“Tried a 13mph interval workout today,” Jeremy captioned the video, with the phrase “KEEP PUSHING” underneath.
The actor also posted a heartwarming message of appreciation alongside a black and white photo of him walking with a cane while wrapping his arms around a friend.
“With the blessing of having nothing but time for me, I reflect daily on all that I am grateful for and move toward paths with intention and clarity, never forgetting all of your continued support….” He wrote.
“I just wanted to leave a note to thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness… it is noticed and deeply felt every day.”
The reports come hours after he was spotted with an Iron Man-style compression device on his legs that promotes circulation.

The Avengers star walked through New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport on Wednesday wearing Normatec Go air compression sleeves on his calves.
Renner was struck and run over by a snowplow while trying to prevent his cousin from being hit by the vehicle.
The artist suffered numerous broken bones and a collapsed lung during the incident, after which he spent a significant amount of time in intensive care.
He underwent surgery for his injuries after the accident, and although he was in critical condition, he was released from hospital care on January 17.
The actor has now shared several photos and videos of his recovery process on his Instagram account.
Renner gave his 21.1 million Instagram followers a glimpse into his recovery process by sharing a video of his story in November. In the clip, he was seen crawling across a rocky platform in an attempt to test his joints 'against gravity'.
He wrote that he “worked through” the pain to further his healing process.
Just ten months after the accident, Renner was all smiles as he sat courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers game.
The artist recently spoke to CNN and told the media that he felt “very blessed and very fortunate to be able to stand up, walk around and be alive.”
Renner further stated that the accident made him reevaluate his priorities and structure his life in a more efficient way.

The Town star also opened up about the “gifts” he was given during his recovery process.
“When you're tested physically, emotionally, spiritually, in every way possible, and then you get through it, it's hard to explain,” he said.
Renner announced in a post that he planned to release a new musical project inspired by his recovery on his Instagram account.
The artist shared part of the cover art for his upcoming release, titled Love And Titanium, although much of it was covered with a heart emoji.
