Jeremy Renner honors daughter Ava in a sweet Father’s Day post as he continues his recovery
Jeremy Renner thanked his daughter in a sweet Father’s Day post on Sunday.
The Avengers star, 52, who is still recovering from his accident on New Year’s Day, shared two photos of himself and 10-year-old Ava as they sat on a jetty overlooking a lake near his home.
“Another day to celebrate alongside my number one,” the Hawkeye star wrote.
“Honoring the importance placed on me as a father, teacher, student, protector, and conspirator.”

The what if? The voice actor has made a near miraculous recovery since nearly losing his life on January 1 when a snow cat rolled over him.
The weight of the massive machine resulted in 30 broken bones throughout the actor’s body. He also suffered a collapsed lung and a punctured liver.
The innovative star had regained enough strength to attend the premiere of his Disney+ makeover show Rennervations in April, walking the red carpet with the help of a cane.
“It’s a lot of things for me personally,” Renner shared CNN at the event.
“I feel like everyone is joking now about what I’ve been doing with my time. It feels weird, great, weird,” he admitted.
‘I never thought that as a 52-year-old man I would still have dreams. I feel like I did them a little bit. But wow, how nice it is to make things come true for yourself. There is more wonder to be had, and I’m very grateful to be here to continue to find that wonder.”
Since then, The Town star has shared updates on his progress, along with photos and videos of his grueling physical therapy and training exercises helping him regain his strength.

The action hero seems to have inspired his Avengers co-star Robert Downey, Jr. to follow in his renovating footsteps.
Jeremy’s Rennervations focuses on turning decommissioned vehicles into creations that benefit a community in need.
The Iron Man, 58, star is looking at overhauling smaller vehicles for his new show, Downey’s Dream Cars.
The Max docuseries will follow Robert as he rebuilds six classic cars from his own personal collection into more environmentally friendly machines.
“I think it’s so wild that he and I have both had these kinds of deviations from our day job together. We’ll have to compare notes,” he said The Hollywood Reporter at the show’s premiere Friday.

One of the four episodes of Rennervations was filmed in Reno, Nevada.
Jeremy lives in the area part-time and he wants to bring more movie opportunities to the area.
A bill in the state legislature would provide tax credits to bring film production to southern Nevada, but the activist and actor is lobbying to have the bill amended to include northern Nevada as well.
The Kingstown star mayor recently met with the president of the University of Nevada Reno, who is on board with the idea that is expected to bring millions of dollars to the local economy.
The program would be run through the future Jeremy Renner School of Film, according to the university 2News.
