Jeremy Renner is accused of insulting the Reno family after he started dating their ex-con daughter – sending her ‘d**k pictures’ and later calling her mother and aunt ‘f**king idiots’ mention when he invited them to his mansion in Lake Tahoe

Avengers star Jeremy Renner has been accused of insulting a Reno family after dating their criminal daughter, sending her ‘d**k pictures’ and calling her mother and aunt ‘f**king idiots’ had mentioned.

Renner, 52, began a romantic relationship with Reno hairstylist Amber Monson, 34, after meeting her at a local club in August, her family told DailyMail.com.

Monson is a colorful figure who has had several run-ins with police — including stealing a government car and going on a high-speed chase near schools in 2021, according to local news reports.

Her brother, Jason Nelms, says Renner met Monson at a Reno club in August, and the two started dating. He said Renner even sent Monson “d**k pictures,” which she then showed to her mother and aunt.

Jeremy Renner, pictured in November, is accused of insulting the family of a woman he started dating last summer when he invited them to his home

The actor met Amber Monson, 34, a Reno hairdresser who has had several run-ins with the law, and the relationship went from purely sexual to more romantic just before the holidays, according to her family

Nelms, 40, told DailyMail.com that the relationship went from purely sexual to more romantic after the Hurt Locker actor began video chatting with Monson and her family in recent months.

However, things went wrong during a gathering celebrating his new Christmas album in November, Nelms said.

He told DailyMail.com that Renner invited Monson, her mother and friends to his $2.6 million Lake Tahoe mansion, where they would meet the actor’s daughter and parents.

But when they struggled to find the entrance hidden on a side road off Mount Rose, he called them “f**king idiots” on the phone and refused to come out to meet them at the entrance, they claimed .

When the family finally arrived, Nelms said, Renner appeared drunk and was rude to them, refusing to shake hands.

“It’s kind of out in the boonies where he lives,” Nelms told DailyMail.com. “They try to drive there and they get lost, they don’t know where it is. It is dark, the roads are icy and bad.

‘They call him to find out where he is. And at one point he says, ‘What are you damned idiots? Don’t you have any brains between the three of you?”

‘Annoying stuff, that kind of thing. They said, “At least come to the driveway so we can see where you are.” He said, ‘No, I’m wearing my socks, you’re ruining my cold.’

Monson and Renner regularly “video chatted” and shared her messages with the Avengers star with her family

Nelms said Renner sent his cousin outside and the family eventually found the house and went inside.

‘My family takes a step back, and he really comes across as an advertisement. He was very cold to them. It was something like ‘bowing’.

“It was all awkward,” Nelms told DailyMail.com.

“My mom’s friend, she went up to him to try to shake his hand, and he just looked at her like, who the fuck are you?

Amber’s brother, Jason Nelms, claims Renner treated his family “like shit.”

“My mother told him he was drunk and an asshole.

‘They decided to leave. They were outside, getting ready to get in the car, when Renner’s cousin came out and said, “Hey, this will all go away if you just apologize.”

“My mother said, ‘Apologies?’ Do you want us to apologize? Serious?”

“He treated them like shit, called them idiots and then expected them to apologize as if they were wrong because he is King Racer and you have to bow down to him.”

Monson and Nelms’ mother, Tracy Overholt, 58, confirmed the story but declined to comment further.

Nelms took to

Monson’s younger brother, 25-year-old Dillon Overholt, told DailyMail.com that he was present for some of his sister’s video chats with Renner.

Renner invited Monson’s family to his estate in Mount Rose, Nevada — halfway between Reno and Lake Tahoe — but insulted them when they needed help finding the house during their November visit, Nelms said.

Nelms turned to X, formerly Twitter, last month to publicly address Renner about his behavior towards his family

“They met in downtown Reno,” he said. “They video chat all the time.

“One text from him says ‘I’m coming to get your lover’ with a heart, so yeah, I’d say they were in a relationship.”

Dillon said his entire family was “furious” about the way Renner allegedly treated them.

‘He was super rude the whole time, he wouldn’t leave the bench. It took him ten minutes to get up and shake people’s hands,” he said.

“If I were to invite someone, I would be humble and hospitable. “I’m not pretending I’m a celebrity and you’re just locals from Reno.”

On Instagram, Monson describes herself as a “professional hair and makeup artist in Reno, NV, proud mother of an amazing son.” She shares a son with her estranged husband, who her family says has custody of the boy.

She declined to comment when contacted by DailyMail.com.

Dillon said his half-sister had a “rough childhood,” her father died and she struggled with addiction.

“She’s been dealt a bad hand in life. She definitely had some bad times with drugs and stuff like that,” he said.

Monson has had several run-ins with the law and was recently arrested on Dec. 13 for violating her probation, according to Washoe County Sheriff’s records

An April 2021 report from a local station Channel 2 News says Monson took a state car, drove 75 mph through Carson, Nevada, crashed into police cars and led sheriff’s deputies on a chase through a school zone.

A total of eight cars were damaged, including one driven by a parent who was unloading children from the vehicle, according to the report.

A Carson City District Court clerk told DailyMail.com that Monson pleaded guilty to four felonies: eluding police, assault with use of a deadly weapon, assault with use of a deadly weapon and possession of a stolen vehicle.

She was sentenced to between 24 and 60 months in prison, the clerk said.

Monson is also currently on probation and was arrested for violating it on Dec. 13, according to Washoe County Sheriff’s records, but has since been released.

Nelms said she didn’t show up for work and her probation officer caught her.

Renner, meanwhile, recently took to Instagram on New Year’s Day — exactly one year after his near-fatal accident — to praise his daughter for helping him recover.

Exactly one year after he was nearly crushed by a snow plow, Jeremy Renner shared an emotional post on Instagram revealing that his 10-year-old daughter Ava is ‘reason number one’ he survived

Renner had his chest crushed and his upper body collapsed when he was pulled under a seven-ton snow plow on his Lake Tahoe property just hours after the new year arrived.

He also shared a video he and his daughter made of the song Wait from his upcoming EP Love and Titanium, which debuts on January 19.

The post includes a photo of Renner hugging his daughter on New Year’s Eve while she wears a Happy New Year 2024 tiara.

‘The number one reason for my recovery is her. “I asked her to ‘wait for me’ when I first saw her when I got home on January 14,” Renner began.

‘As I got better, she got better, less scared. There is simply no better motivator to recover than healing your family and friends,” he added.

‘Always with gratitude, thank you all for your love and support this past full year. “I needed every ounce of goodwill and prayer,” he told his 21.2 million followers.

“I hope you enjoy the video we made from the ‘Love and Titanium’ EP coming out on January 19th,” he concluded.
