Comeback: Speaking to KTLA’s Frank Buckley last week on the Frank Buckley Interviews podcast, Piven said the allegations had forced him to “take control of his life”
He said he used his talents to do stand-up comedy, spend time with his mother and meditate while trying to get “balance” in his life.
Piven added, “As the great Martin Luther King said, no lie can last forever. I know your producers or someone else is probably looking for a soundbite, but that’s not the point.
“It’s about taking ownership of your life, and knowing your truth can get you on a stage anywhere if you have nothing to hide.
Piven was charged with five sexual misconduct charges in 2017.
BAFTA and Emmy winner Piven is said to be an “emotional wreck” over the claims.
Piven was accused of sexual harassment and assault on Twitter in late October 2017 by 38-year-old actress Ariane Bellamar, who claimed the star had groped her twice, once in his trailer on the Entourage set and the other time on Playboy -mansion.
That was followed by actress Cassidy Freeman saying on her Instagram page that Piven engaged in “predatory behavior” against her when she was “much too young.”
And since then, two more women have come forward accusing the Emmy-winning actor of sexual assault and harassment.
Washington-based advertising executive Tiffany Bacon Scourby, 39, and Hawaii-based porn star Isis Taylor say Piven assaulted or harassed them.

Piven has denied all allegations of sexual assault, saying they are “absolutely false and completely fabricated.”
The actor played the caustic Hollywood cop Ari Gold in the HBO series Entourage from 2004 to 2011 and in the widely released 2015 film.
Piven released a statement at the time refuting Bellamar’s claims.
“I unequivocally deny the appalling allegations being leveled against me. It didn’t happen,” the statement said.
“Victims need a lot of courage to come forward with their history, and I hope that the allegations about me that didn’t happen do not detract from stories that should be heard,” the statement said.
