Another fan admitted: ‘Hopefully not the penultimate week of the penultimate season,’ to which Lisa replied: ‘None.’

A follower wondered: ‘What about season 4??’ to which the TV star responded with an “ok/yeah” thumbs up emoji.

It comes as Top Gear was reportedly axed by the BBC after 46 years after bosses determined there was no going back from Freddy Flintoff’s horror car crash.

The former England cricket captain was “lucky to be alive” after his 130mph three-wheel open-top Morgan Super 3 car, which had no airbags, overturned on December 13 last year, leaving him seriously injured faces and broken ribs.

The Ashes hero had to wait an “excruciating” 45 minutes for an air ambulance – and the BBC later apologized to him.

Insiders told The Sun that after nearly ten months, production staff have now been told to look for other jobs, possibly signaling the end of the motor show.

At least one member of the Top Gear production team is reportedly considering suing the BBC for lost earnings.

In response to reports that the show had already been cancelled, a BBC spokesperson told MailOnline: “A decision on the timing of future Top Gear shows will be made in due course with BBC Content.”

It comes after it was revealed that Vinnie Jones will star in a brand new documentary series for Discovery+ which has been dubbed ‘the next Clarkson’s Farm’.

The former footballer is working with Lime Pictures – makers of Hollyoaks and Geordie Shore – on a documentary series about his new life on the sprawling 147-acre farm in Petworth, West Sussex.

Following the sad death of his late wife Tanya in 2019 at the age of 53 following a battle with cancer, the actor is now working on this brand new venture, which will see him rebuild his farm in southern England into a sustainable agribusiness.

The series will also build on his passion for the British countryside.

Vinny said: “Most people know me as a professional footballer or a Hollywood hardman, but what they probably don’t know is that all that hard work has been to support my real passion: my home in the great British countryside.

“I grew up living off the land and I can’t wait to show people the joy and beauty of our village and the rewards of old-fashioned hard work.” Bring.’

As part of the transformation, Vinny and his team will seek to establish new conservation methods, restore habitats and attract wildlife.

It’s a similar premise to Clarkson’s Farm, the Amazon series featuring Grand Tour and former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson as he tries to turn his ‘Diddly Squat Farm’ into a viable and profitable business.

After Tanya’s death, Vinnie spoke of throwing himself into work and sought help from a psychologist to try not to feel like he was ‘drowning’ in his own despair.

‘(Sadness) is a spirit, it is a blanket. It wraps around you and pulls you down. You don’t know when it’s going to happen, why it’s happening. It just happens,” he told Stuff.

“You have to try to keep your head above water, take as long a breath as you can because you know you’re going to be pulled back.”

“You gotta give the people what they want, or you’re gonna fucking drown.” It’s fucking exhausting (Sometimes I wish) I had to build a 50 foot wall around to keep everyone out and keep me in… My spirit may be broken inside, but I think I have enough knowledge and enough experience to handle it.’
