Jeremy Allen White was “dazzled” by his estranged wife, Addison Timlin, commenting on the difficulties of being a single mother in a Mother’s Day Instagram post earlier in May.
The Bear star, 32, shares two daughters Ezer Billie, four, and Dolores Wild, two, with the Californication actress, 31, who he tied the knot with in 2019. However, just days before Mother’s Day, TMZ reported that Timlin had filed for divorce.
A source close to the former couple recently told that Page six that the actor was “dazzled” by her lengthy caption claiming it was “f***ing hard” to be a single mom.
Shortly after uploading the post, Timlin edited the comment slightly to change being a single mom to “co-parenting.
”
Addison changed her Instagram post because it wasn’t right, a lot of people were like, ‘What are you talking about?’ the insider informed the outlet.

Friends of the stars have claimed there was no infidelity to cause the divorce, but hinted that his Chicago filming schedule could have caused tension in the relationship.
The source continued, “Jeremy had no control over where he was filming. He filmed The Bear in Chicago and whenever he could, he came home. He’s so involved in those girls’ lives, he adores his daughters.

Both White and Timlin first crossed paths when they were teenagers, and also starred in the same 2008 project titled Afterschool.
They welcomed their first daughter in 2018 and their second two years later in 2020. In October 2019, the stars said “yes” at a Beverly Hills courthouse.
Earlier in May, TMZ reported that Addison had filed for divorce from the Shameless actor after nearly three years of marriage, but did not give any specific reason for the sudden separation.
At the time of filing, the actress requested primary physical custody of their two little ones, allowing Jeremy to have a visit. Earlier this month, however, he filed for joint custody of their daughters, per page six.
On Mother’s Day, Timlin jumped to her main Instagram page to show a carousel of snaps of herself with her kids and added a lengthy caption detailing the ups and downs of single parenting.
She initially wrote, “Being a single mother is not how I imagined it. It’s so damn hard,” but later changed the sentence to, “Co-parenting isn’t how I imagined it. It’s so damn hard.’

She also added how “tiring” and “lonely” it could be, writing “there is no witness by your side.” It’s so painful.’
“But like anything with motherhood, the lows are broken up by the dizzying highs,” Addison continued, describing the positives of motherhood, typing, “Being a mom is the only thing I’ve ever wanted and being theirs is just the happiest , most remarkable thing on the planet.’
She wrote, “Going it alone has given me more strength and more empathy and more tears than anything else in my life,” thanking other moms and those who have helped her “over the past 9 months.”
During an earlier interview with In style last August, Jeremy opened up about his family life with his Addison and daughters. “I learn a lot from them,” he revealed at the time.
“I feel in many ways that they are teaching me all the time how to be better: how to be better for them; how I can be better for my wife, my friends, my parents, my sister.’
The Golden Globe winner added, “I think I’ve been ready to domesticate for a long time, and I’m so happy to be in the house with them all the time.”

Aside from Jeremy, other stars who have tackled roles include Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colon-Zayas and also Abby Elliot.
While the first season followed the premise of Jeremy’s character, Carmy Berzatto, taking over his late brother’s sandwich shop, the second season follows Carmy’s new restaurant titled The Bear.
Last year, the show garnered critical acclaim and recognition, and the New York-born star won himself a Golden Globe, a SAG award, and also a Critics Choice Television Award for his performance.
