Jeopardy! viewers voice bewilderment over mind-boggling final clue that left EVERY contestant totally stumped – so, do YOU know the answer?

A response to Danger! has left viewers scratching their heads as participants questioned their own geography and math skills.

The February 15 episode had the final category “Landmarks,” with the prompt: “The distance between the two legs at ground level is 200 meters, which makes it as wide as it is high.”

Contestants Diandra D’Alessio, James Tyler and David Bederman all battled for the final spot in the Champions Wildcard semifinals, but all three were left stunned by the final question.

Diandra and David both guessed the Eiffel Tower in France, while James suggested Christ the Redeemer in Brazil.

However, neither was the right answer.

The answer was actually a little closer to home and turned out to be the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri.

“You can even write the arc in a square,” explained host Ken Jennings.

Fans were outraged by the description of the arch, wondering if you would call the support beams “legs.”

‘It’s not really tricky according to the writers, legs is the official way it’s described by the National Park Service and by its architect. But if you’re not familiar with it, I imagine that would be surprising.”

“I suspected the Arc De Triomphe,” another shared.

‘One thing is certain: legs, ends, supports, the Eiffel Tower has more than two. And Christ the Redeemer has less than two, unless he is secretly anatomically correct under that garment,” they continued.

“I don’t think they can blame all three writers for their miss.”

“On tonight’s final Jeopardy clue, it was mentioned that the monument had two legs and two of the contestants responded with…the Eiffel Tower??” exclaimed another.

“I’m calling St. Louis Arch! The two legs were an important part of the clue,” another agreed.

Construction of the Arch began on February 12, 1963 and was completed on October 28, 1965. The northern tramway opened to the public on July 24, 1967.

All three participants responded to Walk the Line and left out the letter I, which ultimately cost them money and time.

Despite answering incorrectly, Diandra reached the semifinals of the Champions Wildcard tournament after finishing as the winner and walking away with a grand total of $23,599.
