Jeopardy! viewers are left in uproar as show is pulled off air just MINUTES before the final for special broadcast about Trump’s VP pick: Furious critics slam ABC over ‘loser behavior’

Viewers of Jeopardy! were outraged after Monday night’s episode was pulled just minutes before the finale in favor of a special report on Donald Trump’s appearance at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

ABC dramatically interrupted the game show to cover the former president’s first public appearance since an assassination attempt Saturday night, preventing fans from watching contestants Brenna Sniatecki, James Hayakawa and Isaac Hirsch compete in Final Jeopardy.

The move sparked outrage, with viewers taking to social media to complain en masse about the broadcaster.

Some were so angry that they accused the broadcaster of being an example of ‘mob mentality of far-left media’.

On X someone wrote: ‘ABC News! We care more about Jeopardy than what you think about Trump and Vance!’

‘I watched it on FoxNews and tried to watch Jeopardy, but you assholes fucked it up!’

Another wrote: ‘Nothing is worse than flipping over to ABC to watch @jeopardy and instead seeing this clown and his cult members.’

A third said, “The fact that ABC is ahead of Jeopardy before the Republican National Convention is loser behavior.”

A fourth tweeted: ‘F**k ABC for delaying Jeopardy to air the convention. Every other news station is airing it, y’all don’t need it, assholes.’

A fifth said: ‘ABC News! You guys are just another example of the far-left media mafia mentality that is getting out of hand in this country! So to everyone who decided to pull the plug on Jeopardy with five minutes to go: go fuck yourself!’

“Did these morons @ABC news interrupt Jeopardy to announce Trump’s running mate?” asked another. “First of all, I heard that on Twitter 30 minutes ago, and second of all, that is NOT grounds for a special report.”

The outrage also spilled over to Reddit, where one fan fumed: “He interrupted my Jeopardy! He just lost my vote (not that he even had one).”

ABC news anchor David Muir anchored the network’s special report.

He announced, “Tonight, breaking news from the Republican Convention.

‘Our interview with former President Trump about the assassination attempt. Trump about the images of the bullets coming so close. The former president about his phone call with President Biden.

“Trump is telling us about the speech he’s going to give here at the convention now. He says he threw out the other speech.”

Trump was greeted with chants of “fight, fight, fight” as he walked into the Republican National Convention on Monday, just two days after surviving an assassination attempt.

The former president wore a bandage over his right ear where the bullet fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks tore his skin.

Viewers at home were so angry that they flooded social media with a flood of complaints

At the end of Monday’s episode of Jeopardy!, Isaac had won for the ninth day in a row, bringing his total to $215,390.

It wasn’t just Jeopardy! that was interrupted Monday to cut short its coverage of Trump.

Viewers of The Kelly Clarkson Show were also outraged when the program was canceled nine minutes into the episode due to a news report about Trump’s choice of JD Vance as his running mate.

The show eventually came back on air after 16 minutes, but was unable to pick up the thread again.
