Jennifer Lopez seen on set of Ben Affleck’s Unstoppable for first time

Jennifer Lopez first saw her character on the set of Ben Affleck’s film Unstoppable in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The actress, 53, had a large fake tattoo of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on her upper right arm – reminiscent of the very real cross tattoo on husband Ben’s right arm.

Like Ben’s, Jennifer’s is surrounded by bright red flowers, while the rest is drawn in black ink.

Unstoppable is the second feature film from Ben and collaborator Matt Damon at Artists Equity, the independent film production company they launched last year.

The debut film was the sports drama Air, which tells the story of Nike’s iconic partnership with NBA star Michael Jordan.

It premiered in April and has since been made available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

Ben and Matt were in final talks to start production on Unstoppable in March, according to deadline.

It follows three-time All-American wrestler Anthony Robles, who, despite being born with one leg, won a national championship in the state of Arizona.

William Goldberg – known for his editing work on Ben’s films Argo (2012) and Air (2023) – is leading the project.

Jennifer’s role is currently unknown and a release date has yet to be revealed.

For the shoot, Jennifer was dressed casually in flared jeans and a sleeveless purple top as she prepared to step in front of the camera.

Instead of her typical honey-colored hair, the Hustlers star rocked a voluminous brunette wig styled in loose curls.

It was her huge tattoo that caught the eye as she tucked her hair behind her ear in one go.

Jennifer’s husband Ben is no stranger to large tattoos as he has gotten six on his body over the years.

Recently, Jennifer revealed that she and the Argo actor got matching tattoos to honor their “dedication” to each other.

Ben has a pair of overlapping arrows under his armpit with the letters J and B in between, while Lopez is inked on her left with an infinity sign with an arrow on it that reads the words “Jennifer” and “Ben.”

Jennifer called the permanent tributes “sexy” when she showed them off on Valentine’s Day.

But the Maid In Manhattan star isn’t a fan of all of her husband’s tattoos, especially the giant, colorful phoenix that takes up his entire back.

During a 2016 interview, she called the tattoo “awful” and criticized it for being too colorful like many of his other tattoos.

‘I’d tell him! What are you doing? It has too many colors. His tattoos always had too many colors,” she said.

“They shouldn’t be so colorful, you know what I mean? They should be cooler.’

Affleck initially claimed the back ink was a fake for a movie role, but later admitted that he lied.

On Wednesday, Jennifer was surrounded by crew members, one of whom held a clipboard as they spoke to their colleagues, working on her husband’s latest project.

During a break between scenes, she was captured strolling around the set with script pages in hand.

She held her mobile to her ear so as not to disturb her perfectly styled wig.

Jennifer was joined by a male co-star in a blue suit as they staged a scene near a parked car.

There were also two child stars behind Jennifer.

While it’s unclear if Ben will star opposite his new wife, the pair have worked together in the past.

They met on the set of the 2003 rom-com Gigli, which bombed at the box office.

Jennifer and Ben – dubbed ‘Bennifer’ by the press – got engaged that year, but their relationship ended in January 2004.

So fans were delighted when the pair rekindled their romance in 2021 after 17 years apart.

They married in a Las Vegas wedding chapel last year before holding a lavish ceremony at Ben’s Georgia estate in August.

But it is speculated that the couple’s relationship is on the rocks after some apparently heated exchanges between them were caught on cameras.

Recently, the couple appeared to be bickering at the premiere of Jennifer’s latest movie, The Mother.

But a source refuted rumors by telling DailyMail.com that the couple’s relationship is still going strong.

“The story that they fight all the time is false,” the insider said. “They’re in an incredibly good place, very loving and supportive of each other.”

Earlier this month, the Marry Me actress gushed about how it “brings tears to my eyes” to see their families melt together.

Ben shares three children — daughters Violet, 16, 14, and son Samuel, 11 — with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, to whom he was married from 2005 to 2018.

Meanwhile, Jennifer welcomed 15-year-old twins Emme and Max with her third ex-husband Marc Anthony. The former couple split in 2014 after ten years together.

“He’s a great dad,” she said of Ben while appearing on the morning talk show The View.

“He really is the best dad I’ve ever seen. He’s so involved, he teaches me how to deal with the kids sometimes.’

Jennifer called Ben the type of dad everyone would ask for — a “present, loving dad who cares.”

“He’s just so up to date, he’s such a brilliant guy anyway, like he’s learned so much, and you can just tell when he had his kids, he read every book and everything you could possibly learn about kids , and he applies for it and attends and that’s all you can ask for, is a gift, loving father who cares about you and who shows up every day, and that’s who he is.’

Jennifer and Ben combined their families after walking down the aisle last year.
