‘Dear Ben… Happy Birthday. I love you!’ wrote the singer – who recently turned 54 – as he gave fans a glimpse of their low-key celebration.

In the short clip, Jennifer sat in the passenger seat of Ben’s car as they sang along to Sam Cooke’s Wonderful World with the windows down.

They both uttered the lyrics: “I don’t know much of the French I took / But I do know that I love you / And I know that if you love me too / What a wonderful world this would be”

A source recently presented PEOPLE that Ben is “happy and thriving” at age 51 after tying the knot with Jennifer last year and merging their families.

“Everything is going well in his life. He is happy and content,” added a close friend of the actor.

Weeks earlier, Jennifer called on her 54th birthday with a party Ben was throwing at their new $60 million mansion in Beverly Hills — which they picked up in June after house hunting for more than a year.
