The Bear star Ayo Edebiri’s past insults about Jennifer Lopez re-surface – as they’re BOTH set to appear on SNL: ‘Her career is one long scam’

Jennifer Lopez and Ayo Edebiri will be doing Saturday Night Live together this weekend, even though they weren’t always on good terms.

In February 2020, The Bear star, 28, appeared on the Scam Goddess podcast and had some nice words about what she considered fraud: JLo and her career.

She criticized the 51-year-old On The Floor hitmaker’s singing ability, saying “her career is one long con job.”

“I think she thinks she’s still good even though she doesn’t sing for most of these songs,” Edebiri claimed, adding that she was “fascinated” by the lore.

She even addressed a long-standing and unfounded rumor that Lopez — who performed a fashionable show while in New York City on Friday — has reportedly used ghost singers in the past.

The insider also revealed that the comedian is excited to work with the Marry Me star on Saturday Night Live.

Another source claimed that Lopez is not bothered by it and has already put the drama behind him.

Edebiri is a comedian himself, but will host Saturday Night Live for the first time on February 3.

The singer made her first appearance on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest in 2000 with Alan Cumming as host.
