Jennifer Lopez has emerged after canceling several shows in seven cities for her highly anticipated This Is Me…Now: The Tour concert.
Ahead of her first tour in five years, the 54-year-old superstar canceled all scheduled dates between August 22 and August 30 in Nashville, New Orleans; Raleigh, Atlanta, Houston, Cleveland and Tampa.
According to Ticketmasterthe event organizer has ‘cancelled’ the performance and no actions are ‘required to obtain a refund’ to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
No cause or explanation for the cancellation has been given by the artist or her team.
The star looked glum as she stormed out to an LA dance studio on Wednesday after the announcement.
She hid behind oversized sunglasses and was dressed in sweatpants and sneakers.

While it is unknown why Lopez canceled the tour dates, the nine performances will take place exactly one week after her husband Ben Affleck’s birthday.
A number of disappointed fans took to the ticketing and distribution company’s website to express their sadness over the cancellations.
“I had tickets for my boyfriend and I for the Raleigh show in August and along with a few other cities it was canceled without explanation or reason. I was so looking forward to this and this is downright disappointing,” one person wrote. “Fans should be given the courtesy of an explanation.”
Another wrote: ‘The show at ATL was cancelled. Why was this show canceled without explanation.”

This marks her return to tour after a five-year hiatus, following the 2019 tour that grossed over $50 million.
The bus will then make stops across North America in Los Angeles, Montreal, Nashville and more before ending in New York City on August 17.
This Is Me…Now The Tour will showcase Lopez’s older hits along with new songs from her latest album, This Is Me…Now.

This Is Me…Now The Tour follows Lopez’s album This Is Me…Now and Amazon Original, This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, which were released worldwide on February 16, and her documentary The Greatest Love Story. Never told.
It is in support of her new album, film and documentary, inspired by her husband.
Jennifer’s last major run of shows was her ‘It’s My Party Tour’ in 2019, when she played gigs in the US, Canada, Israel, Russia, Turkey, Spain and Egypt.

She told me too Entertainment tonight this could be her last album ever.
The On The Floor hitmaker has admitted that her new record feels like the ‘end of an era’ and the ‘beginning of a new era’.
“We did a bunch of different album covers. We try to do things that are really special for the fans and collectibles and things like that that they can have forever and ever.
“The truth is, I don’t even know if I’ll ever make another album after this.
‘It’s such a typical Jennifer Lopez J.Lo project and I feel really fulfilled.
‘So at a certain point they really become collector’s items.’
Asked if this is her last studio collection, she said: ‘Don’t tell Benny (Medina, manager and collaborator) that I think so.
‘This might be my last album ever.’
She further explained, “I feel like this is the end of kind of an era for me and the beginning of a new era, so I would never say never, but right now I feel like I really put my heart into this and soul into it and I’m very excited and it’s certainly taken a lot out of me.’
‘This Is Me… Now’ is a sequel to 2002’s ‘This Is Me… Then’.
