Jennifer Lopez bundles up with a luxe fur coat as she enjoys solo shopping trip in LA

Jennifer Lopez stayed warm as she stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.

The 53-year-old hitmaker, who will spend her first Christmas as the wife of Ben Affleck, walked the shelves at designer store American Rag Cie with two security guards in tow.

Lopez wore a luxurious brown fur coat that she layered over a cozy black turtleneck sweater.

She hid her toned legs under baggy dark jean pants.

Lopez walked up the sidewalk in front of the store in a pair of tan nubuck hiking boots with untied laces.

The On The Floor singer’s signature honey-colored hair fell to her chest in wavy locks.

Her famous ‘JLo glow’ was on full display as she enhanced her radiant complexion with bronzing powder and luminous peach blush.

Lopez only appeared to be wearing mascara as she hid her eyes behind gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses.

Her fingers were adorned with gold rings, and instead of a purse, Lopez relied on her pockets to store her phone and other belongings.

The mother-of-two was captured looking at an array of quirky coffee table napkins, pillows and books.

Lopez’s glamorous fur coat has become a favorite in her extensive wardrobe brimming with designer threads. She was captured wearing the coat earlier this year during a trip to New York.

Although Lopez faced LA only on Wednesday, he did spend time with his family earlier this week during a shopping trip in Brentwood, California.

She was joined by Affleck, 50, as well as her 14-year-old son Max.

Lopez shares Max and his twin brother Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, 54. The two were married between 2004 and 2014. He is currently engaged to the 23-year-old model Nadia Ferreira.

This holiday season marks the first for Lopez and Affleck since they tied the knot during a Las Vegas chapel wedding in July.

The following month, the couple held a lavish ceremony at Affleck’s sprawling Atlanta, Georgia, estate in front of a host of A-list guests.

Affleck proposed to the Hustlers star in April after rekindling their romance in May 2021 following Lopez’s split from MLB star Alex Rodriguez, 47.

The couple was previously engaged in 2003 after co-starring in the box office flop Gigli, which was released in 2002.

Affleck and Lopez, often referred to in the media as ‘Bennifer,’ were one of the most popular couples in Hollywood in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, the duo called off their engagement in 2004 and married different people.

While Lopez married Latino singer Marc Anthony, Affleck moved on with 13 Going On 30 actress Jennifer Garner, 50. Affleck and Garner have three children: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.

The former couple separated in 2016, though their divorce was not finalized until 2018. They are now friendly parents to their children.

Lopez’s reignited romance with Affleck is the inspiration behind her upcoming album, This Is Me…Now. It’s a follow-up to the Ben Affleck-inspired album she released nearly two decades ago.

Her 2002 album This Is Me…Then was made while she was engaged to the Oscar-winning actor.

This Is Me… Now is slated for release sometime in 2023. The track listing includes several titles that capture her love story with Affleck.

One track is titled ‘no. going. anywhere.’ referencing the special message Lopez revealed Affeck had engraved on her second engagement ring.

Track seven is titled ‘Dear Ben pt. II’ and track 12 is titled ‘Midnight Trip to Vegas’ in relation to his wedding in Las Vegas over the summer.

In late November, he spoke with Zane Lowe in an interview with Apple Music.

In the teaser posted on her Instagram, she said: “Twenty years ago, I fell in love with the love of my life and I was working on an album called This Is Me…Then.”

She added: “It was all about capturing that moment in time.”

She continued: “When I’m in love is when I’m inspired and I was the most inspired at the time and I haven’t made another record like that since.”

“I was in a lot of pain for so many years and my way of surviving was by working harder and hiding that side of myself,” she said. “But now, 20 years later, it has a happy ending.”

She said, “I thought it was time to make another record and the reason we’re here is because I want to capture this moment in time because it’s even better than the first time around.”
