Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck do NOT yet have a buyer for their LA mansion listed at $65M – $4M more than they paid for it – after 3 weeks on the market

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck put their mega mansion in Bel Air, California up for sale three weeks ago for $65 million, but it still hasn’t sold even though the price is reasonable, according to reports TMZ.

The site spoke to real estate agents who insisted the price was within target and shouldn’t be a problem.

That $65 million price tag is $4 million more than they paid for it; It has often been reported that the property cost the couple $60 million, but they actually bought it for $60,850 million.

The Atlas actress, 54, and the 51-year-old Oscar winner have yet to announce they are divorcing, but sources tell DailyMail.com they are likely to drop the bad news on the Friday before July 4.

Neither Jen nor Ben wanted to keep the home for different reasons: she felt it was too big and he felt it was too far from his children in Brentwood.

“Ben never liked the house. It’s too far away from his kids,” an insider close to Lopez said People.

The Gone Girl star co-parents his three children Samuel, 12, Fin, 15, and Violet, 18, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, who lives in the Pacific Palisades.

Meanwhile, the singer, who shares 16-year-old twins Emme and Max from a previous marriage to Marc Anthony, believes the 12-bedroom house is simply ‘way too big for her’.

The pair, who were rumored to have been ‘living apart’ for weeks, toured more than 80 properties together to find the perfect place to live with their blended family.

Affleck and Lopez hired real estate agent Santiago Arana of The Agency to sell the property.

Amid rumors that a divorce is imminent for the couple, a source said TMZ that their agent ‘has been viewing the house for about two weeks’, but has not yet found a buyer.

The insider reported that “they are asking about $65 million for the house.”

With the “significant money” the duo has put into improvements, the outlet said they would face “a loss of millions of dollars.”

TMZ also reported that Lopez is “already looking for a new home,” as Affleck is renting for $100,000 a month in Brentwood, near Garner.

DailyMail.com reported that photos of the lavish interior of their marital home have appeared on estate agents’ websites after being removed following the sale of the property to the couple last May.

DailyMail.com has determined that these new photos were uploaded to the real estate site Zillow.com on June 1 and 5. The house is still listed as sold.

The couple bought the house and paid for it with cash after a two-year search for their dream home in what was supposedly a fairytale ending to their decade’s long love story.

Just over a week ago, fifty images, including an exterior shot of the palatial property, illuminated and glowing against the Los Angeles sky, became visible in multiple real estate locations where there once were none.

A property description has also been uploaded describing the Wallingford estate, on which the property is located, as an exclusive 6-acre promontory. The plot includes not only the main house, but also an adjacent outbuilding with 10,000 square meters of guest accommodation and a caretaker’s house.

There are garages for 15 cars and parking for 80 and an outdoor sports complex with basketball, pickleball, gym, boxing ring and bar, as well as a 150 degree zero edge pool.

The move has led to speculation that the 17-bedroom, 40,000 sq ft property will be quietly put back on the market.

A J-Lo rep pointed out that the images themselves are not new.

It’s just the latest indication that all is not well for the A-listers who jetted off to Las Vegas in July 2022 before celebrating their union over several days — and several dresses — in Georgia the following month.

She’s done with her marriage to Affleck (seen in 2023), a source told DailyMail.com last week: ‘It’s over, she’s had enough’

Last week, DailyMail.com reported that Jennifer is ‘over’ her attempts to make her marriage to Affleck work.

Amid rumors surrounding the status of the couple’s marriage, an industry insider has now claimed that the pop star is at her wits’ end and no longer feels she can do ‘more’ to save the relationship.

“Jenny has had enough and she really tried, but she can’t do anymore. It’s not getting better, it’s worse,” a music industry source told DailyMail.com.

The insider adds that the main reason JLo left her husband was because he was always “grumpy and negative,” like Oscar The Grouch from Sesame Street.

Jennifer is sad about the end of her marriage, but “is trying to make the best of it by exercising, spending time with her twins Max and Emme and making new plans for 2025,” they continued.

One of those new plans is to resume her This Is Me… Live tour for the summer of 2025, when she turns 56. She canceled the 2024 tour, which was due to start in July, to “remember herself.”

“She’s excited to go on tour next year when her personal life is in calmer territory and she can connect with her fans. She will take her tribe and make the best of it,” the source said.

Lopez is also said to be “shocked” by the bad press she is receiving, which she says is not fair.

“If people could see what she really went through, they would be easier on her,” the source said.

‘Ben is a great guy, but he can be grumpy and a downer. I think the world saw that in photos like when they were at the Grammys last year; he wouldn’t smile. If they saw what it really was like, they wouldn’t attack her,” Jennifer’s friend said.

‘He smokes and swears and often seems irritated. Great director and actor, but he doesn’t get much laughs, you know?’ said the source. “But he’s a great dad.”

Lopez plans to continue.

‘She’s really not used to this kind of bad feedback, but she’ll get over it. She will march on,” the friend said.

‘Jennifer is a very smart and strong woman and she will bounce back, she always does!’

These days, she leans on her close friends.

One of these is stylist Shawn Barton, whose nickname is Beezy. Another is singing coach Stevie Mackey.
