Jennifer Lopez beams with joy as she holds hands with husband Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez beamed with joy Tuesday morning.

The 53-year-old singer and actress — who was stylish at last week’s Met Gala — smiled from ear to ear as she held her new husband Ben Affleck in Santa Monica, California.

The couple, who got married in Georgia in August 2022, were in step while holding their coffee: his was an iced coffee and hers was a hot coffee in a smaller takeaway cup.

The mother actress, 53, wore her hair slicked back with heavy makeup on while showing off her figure in a tight top and jeans. Ben, 50, on the other hand, was dressed more casually.

This comes after she said on The View last week that Affleck is such a great dad to their blended kids — he has Violet, Seraphina and Samuel with ex Jennifer Garner and she has twins Max and Emme with ex Marc Anthony — that it tears brings her eyes.

During their outing, Lopez looked ready for her close-up as she modeled a long-sleeved black turtleneck that showed off her fit shape.

The top was tucked into a pair of high-waisted, acid-washed light blue, wide-leg jeans when she let go of the belt.

The icon also sported latte beige studded platform shoes that gave her an extra five inches to her 5ft5in frame.

The Coach model wore her hair up in a topknot as she was heavily made up in earth tones. She also added oversized gray ombre sunglasses with a gold rim and octagonal shape.

In the crook of her arm was an oversized Christian Dior bag in green and pink on an off-white background with a tapestry fabric on the front.

The Bronx resident added yellow gold jewelry and a wedding ring from Good Will Hunting star Ben. And she was also wearing a sporty gold wristwatch.

Her Oscar-winning husband wore a more casual look.

The Massachusetts native wore a black button-up down jacket over a black hoodie, dark blue jeans and lace-up Nike sneakers.

He recently starred in the movie Air about Nike’s recruitment of basketball star Michael Jordan to their design team so that the shoes seem appropriate.

Last week, the Jenny From The Block singer said watching Ben raise their kids “brings tears to my eyes.”

She shared, “He’s a great dad. It brings tears to my eyes. He really is the best dad I’ve ever seen. He’s so involved, he teaches me how to deal with the kids sometimes.’

Jennifer called Ben the type of dad everyone would ask for — a “present, loving dad who cares.”

“He’s just so up to date, he’s such a brilliant guy anyway, like he’s learned so much, and you can just tell when he had his kids, he read every book and everything you could possibly learn about kids , and he applies it and attends and that’s all you can ask for is a gift, loving dad who cares about you and who shows up every day, and that’s who he is,” Alex’s ex-fiancée added Rodriguez.

Casual Benny: Ben, 50, on the other hand, was dressed more casually in a button-up jacket over a hoodie and jeans. The two seemed to be in a more somber mood after leaving a meeting

Jennifer and Ben combined their families after tying the knot last year – the Waiting For Tonight singer has 15-year-old twins Emme and Max, while Affleck has Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, Samuel, 11.

Now a mom of teens, Jennifer said it was hard to watch her kids begin to “isolate” from her.

“I’m experiencing this now, we’re all going through it for the first time with our own kids, and you’re like, ‘Oh, this is what she was talking about,'” she explained.

“This is when your kids won’t talk to you, and they kind of individualize you, and it’s all necessary, and intellectually I get it. But my heart! My heart!’

Outside of her home life, Jennifer’s film career has continued to flourish – she will star in the upcoming film The Mother, which will be released on Netflix on May 12.

In the action movie, Jennifer plays an assassin determined to do anything to keep her young daughter safe.

The role required a lot of fight scenes and Jennifer took on the challenge with a lot of training.

“That was one where you really have to train a lot, where you really have to do the combat training and you have to do the sniper training… It was a lot of fun, but it’s a lot of work,” she said.

While Jennifer, now in her early 50s, wishes she had gotten more roles like this when she was a little younger, she still says it was an “empowering” experience.

“And it’s funny, you know, I wish I had gotten a lot of these kinds of roles that I’m getting now, funnily enough, when I was a little more, you know, spry,” said the star who rose to fame as Fly Girl on TVs In Living Color.

‘A little younger, shall we say. And it’s exciting to be able to do it now, I think it’s really empowering for me and makes me feel strong and good.”

The Shotgun Wedding star described how her dance background helped her pick up the fighting routines.

“It was just regular fight training, but it was choreographed. You have to be efficient, I can’t fight eight hours a day. After an hour I’m like, okay!’ she joked.

“So they had to be really efficient and we choreographed almost like a dance, which is good for me because I’m a dancer, so I can take it one step at a time and I just learn from there.”
