Nearly two years after their wedding, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez aren’t quite on the same page.
The couple is reportedly ‘take up some spaceto determine if the relationship is “right for both of them,” a source said We weekly.
A source close to the Golden Globe-nominated actress, 54, said Lopez has “ramped up her work commitments and prepared for her tour.”
Lopez is gearing up for her This Is Me… Live tour next month in support of her ninth studio album.
“She is very focused on her work and overextends herself,” the insider said.

Meanwhile, Affleck, 51, “disagrees with Jennifer’s lifestyle” and feels “tired” by the marriage.
The Academy Award winner has “checked out,” as the insider noted they’re usually on “two completely different pages,” adding, “The honeymoon phase is over.”
Another source close to Lopez said, “Both have demanding careers that often require them to work in different cities.”
Since the couple had recently been apart filming different projects, the insider said the absence “highlighted the emotional and physical distance between them.”
“Over time, Jennifer and Ben found it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively, and minor misunderstandings grew into major arguments,” they said.
“They have fundamentally different approaches to conflict,” the insider added, explaining that Lopez prefers to tackle issues head-on, while Affleck is not as quick to open up.
Their different approaches to parenting and finances have also ‘exacerbated’ their marital problems.
Lopez – who is not only a successful musician and actress, but also has a successful business and deals with major brands – is reportedly worth $400 million, while Affleck is reportedly worth $160 million.
Lopez recently stunned fans by self-financing a three-part project documenting her and Affleck’s love story for a whopping $20 million.
Affleck has acquired much of his wealth through multi-million dollar film and production deals, but he recently earned $10 million to appear in Dunkin’ Donuts’ Super Bowl ad.
On the parenting front, Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, whom she divorced in 2014. Meanwhile, Ben is father to three children: Samuel, 12, Fin, 15, and Violet, 18. – with ex-wife and Alias star Jennifer Garner.
Despite their differences, Lopez is “committed to working on the marriage,” and while Affleck was hesitant, the insider said he has since become “more invested.”
Since moving out of their $60 million Bel Air mansion for a monthly rent of $100,000, the source said Affleck has “struggled with loneliness” and “realized how much he misses Jen.”

Affleck and Lopez are both “reconsidering their priorities” during their time away as they determine “what they really want from marriage.”
“Some believe that with time and effort they can work it out, which points to their deep bond,” the source said of the couple’s friends. “Others think the relationship has run its course.”
The Justice League star was spotted without a wedding band last week, but wore the band again when he stepped out on Friday.
Lopez also wore her wedding ring when she stepped out in Los Angeles on Friday.
Reports of Affleck and Lopez’s marital problems began circulating last week after the couple had not been seen together since late March.
“Ben has already moved out and they will probably have to sell the dream home they spent two years looking for,” a source told In Touch.
“They will never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her,” the insider added. “There’s no way this could have lasted.”
Although the pair was finally spotted at Fin’s school recital last week, he skipped the premiere of her Netflix film Atlas on Monday.
After the Golden Globe-nominated actress banned questions about their marriage during the sci-fi film’s press tour, she had to answer one very direct question.
“You know better than that,” she told a reporter who asked about the rumors during a press conference in Mexico City.
However, the Hustlers actress didn’t try to deny rumors that her fourth marriage was on the rocks.
