Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted Monday morning heading to their West Hollywood office to speak with divorce attorney Laura Wasser.
Laura, who worked with Ben during his split from Jennifer Garner, helped the exes mediate their “tricky” divorce, according to TMZ.
Lopez and Affleck, who were married for just two years, are going through a complicated split after they didn’t have a prenuptial agreement in place when they said “I do” in August 2022.
And since they got married, the stars have worked together on several projects, including the films This Is Me… Now, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, Unstoppable and Kiss Of The Spider Woman.
The toughest part, though, is Ben’s production company with Matt Damon. It was set up after he married the former Fly Girl, meaning Jennifer could also get a piece of the action, the site says.

But there will be no war between the two, because they want the divorce to be amicable.
“They want to show the kids that things are amicable,” a source said People on Monday. ‘They want to stay friendly. There’s still a lot of love.’
The divorce is likely going smoothly, as Ben and Jennifer appeared to be hitting it off when they went to brunch with their kids at the Beverly Hills Hotel earlier this month.
They walked into the hotel side by side.
According to PageSix, Ben couldn’t keep his hands off Jen and even kissed her, which is unusual behavior for a couple going through a divorce.
The breakup has been a long time coming, as they have not been living together for most of this year.
The 55-year-old On The Floor hitmaker filed for divorce without a lawyer on August 20, the couple’s second wedding anniversary.
According to legal documents seen by DailyMail.com, Lopez listed April 26, 2024 as the divorce date.

On the day Jennifer and Ben’s marriage ended, the actress was spotted leaving The Whitman, a luxury boutique apartment overlooking Manhattan, on a solo trip to her native New York.
Absent a prenuptial agreement, Jennifer and Ben’s individual income from the past two years — whether from film projects or major brand deals — is jointly owned.
One major asset the estranged couple must agree on is a $60.85 million home in Beverly Hills, California, which they purchased last year.
The former couple listed the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home for sale in June for $65 million, and after a recent renovation, they put it back on the market for $68 million.
The home in the posh Southern California neighborhood hit the market last month after more work was done on the property, which Lopez and Affleck spent two years choosing.
The mansion spans 38,000 square feet, and state tax law could play a role in the higher price, as California charges homes selling for at least $10 million a 5.5 percent tax. TMZ reported last month.
The listing for the home was held by The Agency, a real estate agency owned by Bravo personality Mauricio Umansky.
Affleck left his Beverly Hills home and has now paid $20.5 million for a mansion in Pacific Palisades, California.
Both entertainers have worked steadily in the two years they’ve been married: Affleck’s projects during that time include the 2023 films Air (which he also directed) and Hypnotic, according to iMDb.
Affleck also appeared in 2023’s The Flash and Jennifer Lopez in 2024’s This Is Me… Now. He has wrapped filming on The Accountant 2, in which he reprises his role as Christian Wolff from the 2016 film.
