Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are ‘living separate lives and looking for their own homes’ amid claims ‘divorce is imminent’

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly living ‘separate lives’ amid ongoing rumors of marital problems.

For weeks it was claimed that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks after it emerged that the couple had not been photographed together publicly for 47 days.

What followed was a series of awkward public outings, with body language experts concluding that the pair appeared ‘unhappy’ in each other’s company.

Now it is claimed that although the couple are not ‘officially divorced’, they have been spending time apart and have been looking at buying separate homes.

A source said this AND: ‘Jen and Ben have led separate lives, but are not yet officially divorced. Right now they’re just doing their own thing. They went into their relationship very optimistic and thought things could change, but that’s not the case.’

The source continued, “Jen is touring houses and shopping around for her own home. During this transition period, she leaned on her mother, sisters and children.

‘Ben is sad about it, but focuses on his work, his wonderful father and his good co-parenting with Jennifer Garner. He leans on Matt Damon and his close circle of friends. Matt is always in Ben’s corner and supporting him.’

MailOnline has contacted Jennifer and Ben’s representatives for comment.

The reports come after claims that the couple have hired real estate agent Santiago Arana of The Agency to sell their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion, which they bought last year.

The pair, who had reportedly been ‘living apart’ for weeks, bought the property after visiting more than 80 properties together to find the perfect war home for their blended family.

Amid rumors that a divorce is imminent for the couple, a source said TMZ that their relator has been “looking at the house for about two weeks” but has not yet found a buyer.

The insider reported that “they are asking about $65 million for the house.”

With the “significant money” the Oscar winner, 51, and singer, 54, put into improvements, the outlet said they would incur a “loss of millions of dollars.”

TMZ also reported that Jennifer is “already looking for a new home,” as Ben is renting for $100,000 a month in Brentwood, near his ex-wife, Jennifer.

Earlier this week, DailyMail.com reported that photos of the lavish interior of their marital home appeared on estate agents’ websites after being removed following the sale of the property to the couple last May.

DailyMail.com has determined that these new photos were uploaded to the real estate site Zillow.com on June 1 and 5. The house is still listed as sold.

The couple bought the house and paid for it with cash after a two-year search for their dream home in what was supposedly a fairytale ending to their decade’s long love story.

Today, fifty images, including an exterior shot of the palatial property, illuminated and glowing against the Los Angeles sky, are visible in multiple real estate locations where there once were none.

A property description has also been uploaded describing the Wallingford estate, on which the property is located, as an exclusive 6-acre promontory. The plot includes not only the main house, but also an adjacent outbuilding with 10,000 square meters of guest accommodation and a caretaker’s house.

There are garages for 15 cars and parking for 80 and an outdoor sports complex with basketball, pickleball, gym, boxing ring and bar, as well as a 150 degree zero edge pool.

The move has led to speculation that the 17-bedroom, 40,000 sq ft property will be quietly put back on the market.

A J Lo representative pointed out that the images themselves are not new.

It’s just the latest indication that all is not well for the A-listers who jetted off to Las Vegas in July 2022 before celebrating their union over several days — and several dresses — in Georgia the following month.

Last week, J Lo, 54, shocked fans by abruptly canceling the US leg of her ‘This is Me Now’ tour, sales of which had proven disappointing.

What followed was a series of awkward public outings, with body language experts concluding that the pair appeared 'unhappy' in each other's company.

In a statement, she described herself as “absolutely sad and devastated that she has let you down.”

She continued, “I wouldn’t be doing this if I didn’t feel like it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time.’

The actress and singer’s reason for canceling her long-standing commitment was that she was “taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”

It did not go unnoticed that her husband did not review a listing.
