Jennifer Lopez almost didn’t wear near-naked revenge dress amid Ben Affleck divorce
Jennifer Lopez is still reeling from the positive response to her new film, which premiered Friday night at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The 55-year-old actress, who wore a glittering silver, nearly nude revenge dress to the film’s premiere despite her divorce from Ben Affleck, posted on social media on Saturday that she was “Still over the moon from last night at #TIFF2024!”
βIt was an incredible experience to be surrounded by so much talent and passion for #Unstoppablemovie,β she wrote.
In an interview with People On Saturday, the actress revealed she had second thoughts about wearing the ultra-revealing Tamara Ralph dress, which featured head-to-toe side slits held together by black velvet bows.

“There was a discussion about whether or not I should do it. And I was like, f**k it,” she told the outlet.
On Saturday, before doing a press round after the screening of Unstoppable to promote her film, Lopez shared a few snaps of her fall outfit.
The hitmaker wore a simple yet sexy olive green V-neck sweater with a high waist, a pleated wrap skirt and a thigh-high slit from Burberry.
She also wore knee-high boots from the brand.
She wore her hair in a low ponytail and her makeup looked natural with soft peach lipstick.
The Emmy nominee wore sunglasses, chunky hoop earrings and multiple bracelets. She also added a brown crocodile-style bag to the look.

The Atlas star said she was “grateful for every moment and the amazing energy of the city.”
Unstoppable is the emotional true story of Anthony Robles, who was born with only one leg. Despite his disability and difficult home life, the determined Robles became an NCAA champion wrestler.
Emmy winner Jharrel Jerome, 26, stars as the determined athlete, while Lopez plays his hardworking mother, Judy.
Lopez introduced the woman she portrayed during the screening, calling her “a woman who has literally poured her heart, soul and blood into her children and taught them that nothing is more important than family,” according to Entertainment weekly.

Deadlines Pete Hammond was very complimentary of Jerome’s portrayal of Roble Sand, calling Lopez’s performance “outstanding.”
“Lopez… doesn’t often get the recognition she deserves and here she proves it right from the ironic opening scenes where we see the love and pride this mother has for her son. She’s amazing,” he claimed.
Jamie Broadnax from Black girl nerds Lopez said, “a commanding performance as Robles’ mother, who was a formative key figure in his life.”

Johnnie Oleksinski at the New York Post called it one of her “best one-minute performances,” adding, “Her story as a struggling mother of multiple children is just as compelling as Anthony’s and gets the attention it deserves.”
The film will be released in theaters in December.
One of Unstoppable’s producers was Lopez’s soon-to-be ex-husband Ben Affleck, 52, who was unable to attend the premiere due to their high-profile split.
Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, the second anniversary of their second wedding ceremony, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
