‘I have a crusty lace. I have a nasty scar on my chin. My facial hair is coming in. My makeup is greasy. And that double chin… it makes me look CRAZY,” Jo shared on Instagram Story. “But I met Jlo today and nothing else matters.”
Jo also shared on Instagram: ‘I. Met. MOTHER. @jlo. Thanks @andysantiagopresents for having me! Thank you @theabbeyweho for organizing such a cool event. Thank you @thefitnessmarshall for being the most special special guest a drag queen could ask for. Thank you @melissa_befierce for being the coolest person to share this experience with. And thank you to this handsome guy for giving the shirt off his back ‘
JLo was the epitome of high style and elegance when she arrived.
She was decked out in a long fur coat and white stiletto boots.
The Shotgun Wedding actress then took off the coat, revealing a chic color-block printed dress, paired with white stiletto boots.
Lopez wore her tresses in soft waves and sported a luminous makeup palette.
The star visited the iconic club to present founder and now former owner David Cooley with a plaque honoring his 33 years of service.

In another surprising move, she even went behind the bar and served up some of her Delola cocktails.
Ultimately, Lopez joined her agent Kevin Huvane on stage to pay tribute to Cooley and his work to grow The Abbey and the LGBTQ+ community.
“I just wanted to come by today to celebrate someone very special,” she began in her introduction of Cooley. “Someone who has been so supportive of me and so many other artists and someone who has given sanctuary, ceremony and service to the LGBTQ community for 33 years,” she said.
As Cooley took the stage, Lopez added, “It’s my honor to be here, honestly.”
Standing on stage with the plaque in hand, JLo and her agent shared some sweet words for the man of the event.
“Kevin and I are honored to present to you… Congratulations,” she said with clear emotion. “You guys have really brought this community together for so many years. It’s a beautiful thing, I really appreciate it. And I know Kevin does too. Thank you.’
