Jennifer Lawrence turned the streets of New York City’s East Village into her personal runway when she stepped out Friday morning.
The 33-year-old actress stood out in a bright red crew-neck sweatshirt worn under a jet black double-breasted jacket as she walked the city’s walkways.
The star of the Hunger Games franchise – who was recently spotted in the company of her young son Cy – also wore slightly oversized trousers that matched the color of her outerwear, as well as two-tone sneakers.
Lawrence carried a bright yellow handbag and dark sunglasses, and her voluminous blonde locks fell to her shoulders.
The artist’s outing came just a day after it was announced that Apple Original Films had acquired the worldwide rights to the documentary Bread & Roses, which she produced.

According to Deadlinethe Sahra Mani-directed feature made its official debut at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
The documentary revolved around a trio of Afghan women who resisted Taliban rule.
In addition to Lawrence and her production partner Justine Ciarrocchi, the feature was produced by Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai.
The feature received positive reviews upon its debut and currently has a 100% rating Rotten tomatoes.
Bread & Roses is currently set to premiere on June 21 on the Apple TV+ streaming service.
The American Hustle actress spoke about the feature film during an interview with Deadline and recalled that she first developed an interest in the plight of Afghan women while watching the end of the war in Afghanistan.
“I was watching the fall of Kabul on the news in 2021 and I said to Justine, you know, we need to find someone on the ground who can get a camera there,” she said.
Lawrence then praised Mani and shared why she wanted the filmmaker to direct the feature film.

“She’s the perfect person to do this… I think her point of view, not to mention her camera skills, are remarkable,” she said.
The performer then talked about her production company Excellent Cadaver, which she founded in 2018.
“What we want to do is just keep making things that we respond to, that we care about. “We’re in the middle of the company’s inception, so it’s hard to say what it is or what it will be,” she said.
“We’re just going to continue to follow what’s important to us and what we want to create,” she added.
