The preference for comfortable footwear was taken to another level on Tuesday when Jennifer Lawrence arrived at an airport in slippers.
The Oscar-winning actress, who famously wore slippers on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in 2023, wore a pair of slip-on slippers as she rushed through JFK in New York City.
Lawrence, 33, paired her unconventional shoes with an otherwise stylish outfit as she arrived in a loose-fitting overshirt and statement red fitted trousers.
The American star completed her look with stylish framed sunglasses, while a large tote bag hung casually over one shoulder.
Lawrence previously swapped the heels for a pair of slides while attending the premiere of Anatomy Of A Fall at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

The actress, who stumbled on her way to collecting her Oscar in 2013, was led down the stairs at the Palais des Festivals in relaxed shoes during the event.
The comfortable footwear was hidden beneath her red dress with an A-line skirt and a long train.
Lawrence was left with her head in her hands after stumbling up the stairs while winning Best Actress at the Academy Awards in 2013.
The following year, she buckled and fell to the ground while walking the red carpet.
Two years later, she tripped and lost a shoe while leaving a dinner celebrating her film, Silver Linings Playbook, in London.
The actress is currently preparing for the wide release of the documentary Bread & Roses, for which she served as executive producer.
The film, directed by Sahra Mani, is about several Afghan women who have to deal with the rise of the Taliban.
The feature film was also produced by the actress’s business partner, Justine Ciarrocchi, and by Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai.

The documentary premiered last year at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received widespread praise from critics.
Lawrence spoke about the feature during an interview with Deadline, where she shared how excited she was about highlighting the plight of modern Afghan women.
“I was watching the fall of Kabul on the news in 2021 and I said to Justine, you know, we need to find someone on the ground who can get a camera there,” she said.
The performer also spoke highly of Mani, whom she described as the ‘perfect’ director for the film.
Bread & Roses is currently set to debut on the Apple TV+ streaming service on June 21.
