Jennifer Lawrence keeps it low-key in a baseball cap and a white V-neck tee as she pushes baby son Cy in a stroller through NYC

There have been some significant ‘firsts’ in the life of Jennifer Lawrence the past few years, but none greater than the birth of her first child, Cy.

And on Saturday, the Academy Award-winning actress decided to spend some quality time with her 18-month-old son by taking a stroll along New York City’s Hudson River Park.

The first time Mom decided to make it a one-on-one affair, that is, if you don’t count the A-lister’s bodyguard following close behind.

Lawrence kept it light and casual in the fashion department in black sweatpants, a white T-shirt and black sneakers.

She also wore a black baseball cap advertising Larsen’s Fish Market in Menemsha on the island of Martha’s Vineyard over her tied up blonde hair.

As the sun shone, the Kentucky native took the time to push her son in his stroller, just steps from the waterway.

This afternoon, the loving mom dressed Cy in a cute bodysuit, blue sneakers and a matching cap to protect him from the sun.

While walking through the bustling area, Lawrence remained engaged to her son, who carried a bottle of water in his hands throughout the walk.

After Cy was born in February 2022, the new mom and husband Cooke Maroney took some time off to enjoy their family’s new arrival.

But finally, seven months later, another first came for Lawrence when she started shooting the straight comedy film No Hard Feelings.

Fortunately, she didn’t have to travel too far during the three-month production, as there were set locations in several Nassau County, New York locations such as Hempstead, Point Lookout, Lawrence, and Uniondale.

Directed by Gene Stupnitsky from a screenplay he co-wrote with John Phillips, the story follows a directionless Uber driver named Maggie (Lawrence) who responds to an ad from a couple looking for someone to deal with their painfully awkward teenage son Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman).

The parents hope the experience will help him learn physical and emotional maturity and boost his confidence before he enters college.

But in the end, things don’t go as planned, which helps with the comedic angle of the plot.

In addition to Feldman and Lawrence, who also doubled as one of the producers, the cast also included Laura Benanti, Natalie Morales, Matthew Broderick, Scott MacArthur, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Kyle Mooney, and Hasan Minhaj.
