Jennifer Hudson showed off her hidden skills for baseball by throwing the first pitch ahead of the Chicago White Sox vs. Kanas City Royals match in Missouri on Tuesday afternoon.
The award-winning singer, 40, donned a baseball jersey as she prepared to throw the ball in front of a cheering crowd.
The mom of one has been promoting her upcoming syndicated series called The Jennifer Hudson Show, which is set to premiere on September 12.

The talented star donned a pair of stylish overalls as she stepped out onto the baseball field at Kauffman Stadium.
She added a Kansas City Royals jersey on top, which she tied into a knot at the front to add a fashionable edge.
Jennifer slipped into a pair of boots with a thick, blocked heel to throw the first pitch.
Her hair was pulled into a tight bun, and she accessorized her look with an assortment of bracelets and a few dainty necklaces.

The Spotlight singer became serious when she threw the pitch, and after the successful throw, she shared a look of excitement to the crowd in the stadium.
Jennifer could be seen throwing her hand up in the air to ring in her victorious pitch, followed by a few dance moves.
Before stopping by the baseball game, the talented beauty spent time with the Boys and Girls Club of Kansas City.
The former American Idol contestant also took time to discuss her new talk show series which premieres on the same date of her birthday.

Before her busy day, Jennifer talked about The Jennifer Hudson Show during an interview with a local Kansas City station called KMBC.
‘I want to bring everybody together,’ she stated when talking about what viewers could expect with the talk show. ‘I want to have some fun. I want to celebrate everyone, and give others the spotlight.
‘I’m inspired by other people’s passions, so I want to learn more about what everyday people want to do,’ the actress expressed, adding, ‘Everyone has a super power.’
The series will air on Fox TV stations across the country, and Jennifer will get to ring in turning 41 on the premiere date.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer had talked to the publication earlier in January about potentially having a talk show come to life.
‘I would love to do that, that would be a whole new interesting world to walk into,’ the Tony-award winner stated.
‘I do love talking as you could probably already tell, and I love to Jennifer-ize people. So maybe I will make it into your living room, 2022 is definitely going to let us know for sure.’
The performer’s dream came true and she will get to share her show to viewers on September 12.
