Jennifer Hudson was joined by 50 Cent at the 2024 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game takeover on Friday.
The pair descended on Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts, to kick off NBA All-Star Weekend with a basketball game between Hollywood heavyweights.
EGOT winner Hudson – whose romance with Common is heating up – dared to impress in a black bodysuit and pleated trousers as she posed for the shutterbugs with her 14-year-old son David Daniel Otunga, Jr.
The In Da Club hitmaker kept it casual chic with a white print polo and waxed denim.
Before the two stars could don their athletic uniforms for the big game, a parade of celebrities joined them on the red carpet, including AJ McLean, Lil Wayne and Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons.

The team coached by Stephen A. Smith had 50 Cent as an assistant, while the team coached by Shannon got a little help from Lil Wayne.
Micah, meanwhile, led Team Shannon to a 100-91 victory over Team Steven. He picked up an MVP along the way. with 37 points and 16 rebounds.
Micah got help from Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua and actor Dylan Wang.
Nacua showed impressive highlight dunks against a Stephen A team he said looked outmatched NBA.com.
The losing team consisted of Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud, content creator Tristan Jass and Olympic high jump gold medalist Gianmarco Tamberi.
The star-studded on-court showdown marked the start of a three-day event packed with skills challenges, games and competitions, including the fan-favorite dunk contest.
It all culminates on Sunday in the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, featuring captains LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Hudson’s appearance at the event comes after her boyfriend Common revealed he hasn’t ruled out getting married after confirming their relationship on the Today show.
When asked by Hoda Kotb if he’s “the wedding type,” the 51-year-old rapper revealed he hopes to one day walk down the aisle.
As for whether his current girlfriend could be his future bride, the three-time Grammy winner raved that he has “grown” a lot and “the work” he has done on himself “has allowed him to see himself as ‘a wedding type’. ‘
“I’m the type that, I’m capable and I have the capacity, and if I wanted to do that at some point in my life, I would know when the right time is,” he told viewers.
A few days later, on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Common has his girlfriend rudely ask him if he was in a relationship.

He replied, ‘Yes. And I’m in a relationship (with) one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met in my life.”
He went on to say, “She’s smart. She loves God. She has something very down to earth about her. She’s talented. But I set the bar pretty high because she had to have an EGOT.”
‘She had to win an Oscar for her first film. I have set my standards high. She should get her own talk show,” he concluded.
As for why they came out on Hudson’s talk show, Common said they were just having “a little fun.”

Jennifer was previously engaged to David Otunga, a professional wrestler in the WWE, before they split in November 2017.
He proposed to Hudson in September 2008, after a year of dating.
During their 10-year relationship, the couple did not walk down the aisle, but gave birth to their first child together: David Daniel Otunga, Jr.
