Jennifer Gates gives birth to her first child with husband Nayel Nassar

Bill Gates’ daughter Jennifer has welcomed her first child with equestrian husband Nayel Nassar.

The 26-year-old shared an adorable snap of the couple cradling the newborn’s bare feet on Instagram on Sunday.

The rider, who is the daughter of billionaire Bill and his ex-wife Melinda, uploaded the heartwarming photo along with a caption that read, “Sending love from our healthy little family.”

It was previously revealed that the couple was expecting a girl, but they are yet to confirm a name.

Jennifer’s post introducing the newborn to her followers was quickly flooded with comments from well-wishers, including her mother and sister.

Mother Melinda wrote, “Welcome to the world. My heart overflows.’

And younger sister Phoebe simply added three red heart emojis.

Other famous faces offering their congratulations included model Martha Hunt, makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic and entrepreneur Martha Stewart.

Jennifer, who is also a medical student, had announced the pregnancy in November by posting paternity photos alongside her Olympic jumper, Nayel, now 32.

She rocked her growing belly in an emerald green dress before uploading the photo with a caption that simply read, “Grateful.”

Her mom, Melinda, shared her joy in the comments, saying, “I couldn’t be more excited to meet this little one and watch you two become parents.”

Jennifer later celebrated the following month at a baby shower attended by her close family at friends in New York City.

The mother-to-be shared photos of the lavish party, hosted by Melinda, on Instagram, inadvertently revealing that she is expecting a baby girl.

Jennifer and Nayel’s baby is the first grandchild of Bill and Melinda – who went through a high-profile divorce in 2021 after 27 years of marriage.

But both put aside their differences to lead Jennifer down the aisle in October 2021 at the ceremony at her then-home in North Salem, New York — a $15.82 million, 124-acre horse ranch that was a graduation gift from her billionaire parents .

It was the Microsoft heiress’ second string of marriages that weekend after she tied the knot for the first time with Nayel in a private Muslim religious ceremony the night before.

The couple, both Stanford graduates, officially began dating in January 2017.

Nayel proposed to Jennifer on a ski trip three years after they started dating. Announcing the happy news on Instagram, they both shared photos of themselves kneeling in the snow after he popped the question.

Last month, it was revealed that Jennifer and Nayel had prepared for their imminent arrival by moving into a $51 million penthouse in Manhattan.

The six-bedroom Tribeca home was purchased by a Seattle-based trust associated with her father, the New York Post reported.

Formerly owned by Lewis Hamilton, the 8,900-square-foot apartment, which has 3,400 square feet of outdoor space, is the largest in a luxury apartment complex at 443 Greenwich Street.

Hamilton sold it in 2021 after four years of ownership, but didn’t even move in. It sold for just over its list price of $49.5 million.

The three-story condo has six bedrooms, six bathrooms, two powder rooms, 6-foot ceilings, multiple terraces, and two parking spaces.

It has its own lift and on the top floor, double terraces flank an additional penthouse living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, according to an old property listing.

The condo’s main deck overlooks northwestern Tribeca and the Hudson River and has a private outdoor pool.

The building at 443 Greenwich Street includes a 22-metre indoor swimming pool, Turkish baths and a 5,000-square-metre communal rooftop terrace.

Other celebrities who have lived in the building include Jennifer Lawrence, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Reynolds, Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal and The Weeknd.

Jennifer is the eldest of Bill and Melinda’s three children.

Her brother Rory, 23, is much more private than his siblings — but the Gates family celebrated together when he graduated from the University of Chicago in June 2022.

Sister Phoebe, 20, has eagerly declared that she wants to be “her own person” and “split off” from her parents — and she’s already making waves of her own.

The student and aspiring designer has already been inundated with invitations to coveted New York and Paris Fashion Week shows, elite parties and star-studded events.

She’s also collected a slew of celebrity friends along the way and landed an internship at British Vogue.
