Jennifer Garner steps out with child Fin, 15, in LA – after checking on ex Ben Affleck amid his divorce from Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Garner had a blast during an outing with her teenage son Fin in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The 52-year-old actress wore a casual-chic outfit in a black-and-white checked blouse, paired with skinny jeans and white sneakers.
Likewise, her 15-year-old child Fin, one of three children she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck, wore an oversized sweatshirt, cargo shorts and comfy sneakers.
For their outing, the Elektra star, who had stopped by her ex the day before to check on him following his split from Jennifer Lopez, tied her brunette hair in a high ponytail and wore minimal makeup to show off her natural beauty.
At one point, as she walked outside into the sunshine, she put on dark sunglasses that resembled a wayfarer.

She also wore a smartwatch, diamond earrings and a matching dainty pendant necklace.
She walked with the sleeves of her shirt rolled up toward a building.
Garner held in her hands a pair of glasses, her sunglasses, a tablet, her phone and her wallet.
She was later photographed carrying a small canvas bag, but still carrying her belongings in the crook of her arm.
The last time she and Fin were seen together was on Labor Day earlier this month.
Garner had a big smile on her face as she greeted Fin, who stepped out of an SUV and arrived at the actress’s home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
That same week, she opened the doors to her stunning $7.9 million ranch and gave Architectural Digest a tour of her home, which she said she built “from scratch.”
She previously purchased the property in 2019, after finalizing her divorce from Affleck.

After moving out of the 8,000-square-foot mansion she once shared with her ex-husband and their three children — Violet, 18, Samuel, 12, and Fin — she embarked on a mission to create her dream home in Brentwood.
Recently, the 13 Going On 30 star, who has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with John Miller since 2018, was photographed heading over to her ex’s rental home in the same neighborhood to check on him, as his divorce from JLo continues.
Lopez officially filed for divorce from the Gone Girl actor last month, the same day as the couple’s second wedding anniversary.
Before the case was filed, Affleck was photographed spending a lot of time with Garner, who previously served as a “marriage counselor” for the couple while they put their eldest child through college.
Sources close to Garner recently told DailyMail.com that she was forced to act as a “mediator” in the marriage between her ex-husband and his estranged wife, to help them resolve their issues in a way that wouldn’t affect Affleck’s sobriety.
“Jen feels a bit like she’s being used as a pawn in JLo’s attempt to repair her marriage,” a source told DailyMail.com in late August.

“But when Jen realized her ex-husband’s marriage was beyond repair, her only concern was Ben’s well-being and sobriety.”
The source explained that the actress’s close friends were not at all impressed with the way Lopez was pressuring Affleck’s ex-wife, despite how complicated things were for the trio.
“She was put in the middle and her friends believe that – no matter how you look at it – a man’s ex-wife should never act as a mediator in a divorce from his new wife,” the insider said.
“Especially when that woman was a great love, the one Jen was compared to during their 13-year marriage. She’s glad Ben is happy now.”
Earlier this summer, DailyMail.com reported that Garner had made a conscious decision to step back from the “circus” surrounding Affleck and Lopez because the situation had brought up “painful” memories for the actress.

Now the star is focusing on co-parenting with Affleck, who has struggled with alcoholism and gambling addiction for decades, as he navigates life after his most recent marriage, but he will remain friends with Lopez.
The source explains, “Ultimately, Jen Garner has always supported Ben and while she now considers JLo a friend, no one sees it developing any further.”
Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 until their divorce was finalized in 2018.
They continue to share parenting rights, but Garner has since moved on with his rumored fiancé, 46-year-old businessman John Miller. Miller reportedly became frustrated with the extent to which Garner was committed to “fixing” Affleck’s marriage.
