Jennifer Garner slips into a racy cut-out dress for stunning Allure shoot
Jennifer Garner showed off an edgy new look as she posed for a stunning new shoot in The May issue of Allure Magazine.
The actress, 51, looked worlds away from her usual look sporting an auburn red wavy bob and a bold black cropped dress as she posed for the publication.
In an interview accompanying the shoot, Jennifer candidly revealed that she struggles to maintain boundaries because she’s always seen as “nice.”
She confessed that she cannot give a false positive on days when she has “blackness in her soul.”
Jennifer said, “The problem with ‘Oh, she’s so nice'” is that when I have a boundary, people think about it a lot more than it actually is.

“The problem is that I get recognized on a day when I’m not so nice or I’m black in my soul.
“I’ve definitely had days where I just can’t. I angrily glare at people before they can walk up to me. I’m not perfect, and I don’t think I’m rude, but I’m not good at being fake. I am an open book of a person.’
Another image from the shoot saw Jennifer wearing a striking blonde wig with a bowl haircut and a bright yellow trench coat.
The look was a far cry from her typical glossy appearance, and Jennifer also chatted with the publication to promote her Apple TV+ thriller The Last Thing He Told Me.
Jennifer also offered insight into her journey through motherhood. She shares children Violet Anne, 17, Seraphina Rose, 13, and Samuel, 10, with ex-husband Ben Affleck.
She said, “Your kids are going to really find out who they are and what they are when they’re older, and most likely they’re going to be sweet.”
“I have a lot of faith in my children. I don’t like every behavior all the time, all the time. It’s gnarly growing up. We didn’t have the eyes on us that our children have.
“I was such a first-time mother. My eldest daughter had no shot. She couldn’t have a free thought – I was all over her. I was a nightmare to everyone around me.’

Dramatically different! The look was a far cry from her usual appearance, with Jennifer promoting her Apple TV+ thriller The Last Thing He Told Me (pictured last month)
The first two episodes of Jennifer’s new AppleTV+ series aired last month, and on her 51st birthday, she hit Drew Barrymore’s talk show to promote her latest project.
The Never Been Kissed star greeted the birthday girl with multi-colored balloons that covered the set.
During the interview, the Yes Day actress told Drew that it was her portrayal of Dylan Sanders in Charlie’s Angels that inspired her role as Sydney Bristow in Alias.

“You showed me a new way. You had shown me something that made me think, “Wait, you can? Take me in, I want to do that.” So much fun,” she said of the role she played from 2001 to 2005.
Garner went on to talk about how tough the action-drama series’ schedule was.
She recalled, “Twenty-two episodes a year every lunch break I had someone waiting for me to teach me how to fight, to teach me a language, to pass … it was just so taxing, and it was also just heaven to to do.’
Barrymore then changed the topic of conversation to feature film 13 Going on 30 saying “This movie means so much to me and my daughters, it meant so much to me when it came out and it means so much to us now.”
Garner then said she’d had conversations with former castmates before about the film’s lasting quality.
“I just knew that, we talked about… how it grows, because I think the kids who were thirteen when it came out are thirty now and god bless them,” she said.
