Jennifer Garner got to spend some girl time with her mom, Patricia Garner, in Santa Monica on Monday.
The Alias alum, 51, looked very happy as she stepped out of her car in jeans, a black sweater, sunglasses and a beanie.
The mum-of-three – who revealed she feels “guilt” about being a working mum – pulled her brunette locks into a ponytail and appeared to be makeup-free as she enjoyed a day out in the seaside town with her mother.
The 13 Going On 30 star got to spend some one-on-one time with her mom while her children – Violet, 17, Serafina, 14, and Samuel, 11, who she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck – were at school.
Jennifer’s family is from West Virginia and she has two sisters – one older and one younger.

The mother-daughter outing comes after The Last Thing He Said To Me actress got candid about the ‘guilt’ she feels about being a working mother Access Hollywood.
On Monday, she admitted she was ‘scared’ about being a busy parent.
“Working moms have it so bad … we’re all freaking out because they keep telling us ‘you have 18 years,’ ‘you have so much time,’ ‘time is fleeting,’ and it makes you panic,” she told guest correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi.
She continued, “So if you’re coming from a place of expansiveness, instead of feeling like, ‘I can’t be a mom because I’m working too, and I should be the one to blame all the time,’ it’s better to lean into wherever you are every day, exactly like now, just be here when your kids show up and we’ll have a great time.’
Jennifer tries to find time for her children and credits her mother with her grounded approach to parenting.
“My mom always told me, ‘You’re their mom forever.’ Don’t worry, you can do your job. You are their mom forever. I wish I was working. I would be a better mom. Your children will be so proud of you,” she said.
In addition to acting, the Peppermint actress is also the founder of Once Upon a Farm, which makes “cold-pressed pouches and plant-rich meals for babies, toddlers and big kids.” according to the website.
And her three children love to try new products when she brings them home.

“They’re just like, ‘Mom, is that a new innovation in the fridge? Can we try that with you?” she said. “They have a lot of ownership of this innovation.”
After splitting in 2015, Jennifer and Affleck raised their three children together. And he gives her high marks as a mother.
In 2019, he told the Today Show that he was ‘trying very hard’ to be a ‘good dad’ to Violet, Serafina and Samuel.
“I’m happy they have a great mom,” he added at the time.
