Last month, Garner’s food organization Once Upon a Farm partnered with Angel City to promote healthy, accessible food for kids and families.
“As one of Angel City’s earliest investors and biggest fans, I am proud of their mission to support healthy lifestyles for families and young athletes, which is a key pillar of Once Upon a Farm,” Garner said in an interview with rack.
“It’s a dream to bring these two powerful – and fun! – teams together and I look forward to supporting their collective efforts in advancing youth football and wellness to raise a healthier generation – ready to play, learn and conquer the world,” she added.
Garner’s latest appearance comes after her eldest daughter Violet Affleck, 18, recently made an impassioned statement in support of mandatory face masks during a meeting of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.
After suffering a “post-viral illness” in 2019, the teenager also advocated for free, high-quality testing and treatment.
In May, Garner shared a video of herself tearfully watching Violet accept her diploma during her high school graduation.
The 13 Going on 30 actress later admitted on Today, “I was a wreck the entire month leading up to the movie.
“Every award ceremony, every final, everything, I just cried and cried,” she said.
Garner added: “The day of (graduation) was such a joyous day that there was nothing but pride and joy.”

She also shares 15-year-old Finn and 12-year-old Samuel with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, whom she was married to from 2005 to 2018.
In November, she told People that “it hasn’t really sunk in yet” that Violet is getting ready for college, adding that she “will have moments where it hits me. But so far, I’m just excited for her.”
“My kids are funny and smart and they work really hard,” she raved at the time. “And their teenage antics are at the lowest level, G-rated, so I’m doing just fine.”
Garner added: “I think my kids work so hard and there’s so much pressure on them. I never could have imagined that as a teenager.”
