Jennifer Aniston’s plans for next meeting with Brad Pitt revealed after bitter Angelina Jolie divorce

Jennifer Aniston has no plans to congratulate her ex Brad Pitt following the finalization of his divorce from Angelina Jolie, according to sources who revealed that the Friends star would “love for Brad to be happy” as he moves forward.

After a bitter eight-year battle, Pitt and Jolie officially reached a settlement in their divorce – with the Tomb Raider actress finally signing her papers on Christmas Day.

Pitt famously ended his marriage to Aniston in 2005 after meeting Jolie on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The Troy actor and Jolie were together for eleven years before their marriage came to an explosive end in 2016.

Despite the very public love triangle and the many headlines it has generated over the years, Aniston and Pitt have managed to remain amicable since his split from Jolie — most notably sharing a warm hug together at the 2020 SAG Awards.

However, a source revealed exclusively to DailyMail.com that Aniston has no interest in talking about her ex-husband’s new divorce update – either publicly or privately.

“Jen has no plans to publicly talk about Brad and Angelina’s divorce, nor does she plan to go out and congratulate Brad for the sake of congratulating him,” the insider began.

The insider shared how Aniston plans to approach her ex the next time they meet at industry events: “The next time they see each other, they will be cordial with each other, which has been the case in the recent past. and that won’t change.

“They talk about life and especially everything else, but they don’t address his feelings about the divorce or anything like that.”

“Angelina is not a topic of conversation between them and that will remain the same forever,” the insider revealed.

However, the source noted that the pair have developed a friendly relationship in recent years, saying, “Jen is good with Brad and is friends with him. Over the years, they have both resolved their issues with each other and will never stop being respectful to each other.

“Jen wants Brad to be happy first and foremost, and believes he is happy.”

Last week, Jolie and Pitt reached a settlement in their divorce, but confirmed they are still embroiled in a $62 million dispute over a French chateau and vineyard they once jointly owned.

Jolie’s lawyer James Simon told People: ‘Over eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left behind all the belongings they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.

‘This is just part of a long-term process that started eight years ago. Honestly, Angelina is exhausted, but she’s relieved this one part is over.”

Although the split was acrimonious, a source close to Jolie added: “She doesn’t speak ill of it [Pitt] publicly or privately. She did her best to be light after a dark time.”

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, after just two years of marriage.

The move came just days after a private plane trip in which Angelina alleged Brad abused her and their six children, but authorities did not charge him after an investigation.

Jolie and Pitt later released a joint statement declaring that they would keep all divorce proceedings private for the sake of their children.

They said: ‘The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to protect the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and retaining a private judge to make all necessary legal decisions and the expeditious resolution of remaining issues to facilitate.

“The parents are determined to act as a united front to achieve recovery and reunification.”

The former couple share children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne and Knox, now 16.

Since their parents’ bitter split, Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne have all dropped Pitt from their last names.

It has been reported that Maddox and Pax are not speaking to their father, while it is believed that Knox and Vivienne are still consulting with the Fight Club star, despite not having been photographed with him in several years.

While the former power couple have finally settled their divorce, there is still an ongoing battle over France’s Château Miraval vineyard, considered one of the country’s top wine producers.

Pitt and Jolie are locked in a bitter legal battle over Miraval after Pitt claimed Jolie sold her $62 million stake in the winery without his approval to the Stoli Group, famous for its Stolichnaya vodka.

Both sides have said they would be willing to take the Miraval case to a jury trial or mediation, a source told DailyMail.com.

The insider with knowledge of the situation added that Jolie “has done his best to be light after a dark time.”

“She doesn’t speak badly about him either publicly or privately,” the insider said. ‘The children have grown up knowing that some people have so much power and privilege that their voice does not matter. Their pain doesn’t count.’

The insider continued, “They’ve wanted her to stand up and defend herself in recent years, but she reminds them that they need to focus on changing laws instead of telling public stories.”

Pitt has since been dating Los Angeles-based jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, 34, for almost two years.

The pair initially spent time together at a Bono concert in November 2022.

It is believed the two are now living together, and Pitt is even considering getting married again.

The entrepreneur even required her business contacts to sign a non-disclosure agreement to ensure no details about her personal life were leaked.

Now the actor would like to share his future with the brunette beauty, as another source stated in early December: ‘Brad is interested in getting married again, and it’s all thanks to Ines.
