Jennifer Aniston cleared up rumors about herself during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s show on Wednesday night.
The Friends star, 55, shared some of her childhood growing up with her father John Aniston, a soap opera star, and her mother Nancy Dow in Thousand Oaks, California.
When Jimmy asked if it was true that “your family would make you belly dance on Christmas Eve?” Aniston surprisingly said yes.
“Any time, not just on Christmas Eve,” the Friends actress replied.
‘You know. The Greeks love any kind of family dinner, they would say, “Let’s get up and watch” – it’s like saying to your child, “Play the piano for everyone, let’s sing for everyone.”
And the trauma of performing as a child has left her with a kind of PTSD. ‘I get so worried when my friends do that to their children. “I have an inner trauma from having to perform and belly dance for my Greek uncles, aunts and grandmothers,” she noted.

The Friends star, 55, shared some of her childhood growing up with her father John Aniston, a soap star, and her mother Nancy Dow in Thousand Oaks, California
In 2016, the Morning Show actress told EW, “When I was a kid, they made me belly dance. On Christmas Eve.
“My dad’s side of the family is Greek, so I dressed up as a little Greek girl, and at Christmas, after taking belly dancing lessons, I did that.”
And she didn’t think her family had good intentions, it added.
“It didn’t even have anything to do with Christmas,” she said. “It was just, ‘Let’s humiliate Jen for Christmas.’
Jennifer was on the talk show to promote her new children’s book Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life, based on her rescue dog Clyde.
Jennifer took her beloved dog Clyde to the talk show studio in Los Angeles. Clyde also made his television debut when Jennifer brought him out to be on stage with Jimmy. Jennifer said the book is about finding your purpose in life.
Aniston also confirmed that she does salmon sperm facials.

‘But let me explain it to you. The question is not: how do you get sperm from a salmon? It was quite unclear.’
She then explained, “I just took the woman’s word that that was it. And I thought, ‘Sure.’
A confused Jimmy then stumbled over his words, “Yeah, well, I mean – if it’s not – it’s supposed to be… I mean, I don’t know.”
Aniston clarified, “I don’t know, it should be small, tiny, like the micro-needling they do.”
‘And then the salmon sperm had to be pushed in. Don’t I have a nice salmon skin?’ she asked humorously.
This comes after Jennifer shared another peek inside her $21 million mansion in Los Angeles’ Bel-Air neighborhood.
The Friends actress wore a black slip dress with a red teardrop necklace and slippers as she read her new book Clydeo Takes a Bite Out Of Life to four dogs.
The star sat in the TV lounge behind her kitchen as she read the lyrics to the seated canines.
The video gave fans a lot to see, like how she has a wine room near her fireplace and how she has a makeup mirror in her kitchen.
There were two iced coffees with straws in clear glasses on the side and plenty of water glasses on the kitchen island.
The Emmy winner also has a Tom Ford coffee table book behind her and a basket chair rocking on the side of a glass table. A purple crystal can be seen behind the couch.

Aniston bought the sprawling home for $12 million when she married Justin Theroux and subsequently made numerous improvements.
The property features a swimming pool, an outdoor lounge area and a chicken coop.
It’s the same neighborhood where her friend Ellen DeGeneres lived.
The beautiful home was also featured in Architectural Digest a few years ago and Jennifer filmed a SmartWater ad there.
The house is now probably worth about $40 million as the market has risen dramatically over the past decade.
This comes after Aniston shared the story behind adopting her first dog.
A dog didn’t perform well during a scene with her co-stars Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry on their hit show Friends.
The dog’s name was Norman and Aniston offered to take him home. And then a beautiful love for dogs was born that continues to this day.
Sadly, Norman passed away in 2011 and Jennifer got a tattoo on her foot to remind her of the beige fuzzball. But she still looks back with great pleasure on her first dog, thirteen years after his death.
