Jennie McAlpine has announced that she is pregnant.
The 38-year-old Coronation Street star has revealed that she is expecting her third child with husband Chris Farr, and she is six months old.
She said OK! magazine: ‘It just feels great. We are so over the moon. The idea of adding to our family mix and mayhem was the best Christmas present ever! I am very excited for 2023, it will be special.’

She explained how she found out about her baby news while enjoying a camping trip with Chris and their children Albert, eight, and Hilda, four.
Feeling nauseous, the former I’m A Celebrity campmate decided to take a pregnancy test and soon realized she had a bun in the oven for about five weeks.
Jennie recounted how the couple expects a surprise when it comes to finding out the gender of the baby, unlike their first two pregnancies.
She said: ‘It feels like our way of doing it. Girl, boy, it’s not relevant! I have two little humans who are very different from each other, but I’m not sure if they are different because they are a girl and a boy.

Their daughter’s name, Hilda, was inspired by Corrie’s character, Hilda Ogden, played by the late Jean Alexander.
And this time, the soap opera star has confessed: ‘I can probably guarantee that whatever name we choose, it will have been a character in Corrie, I don’t know how to help it!’
Jennie continued to work through her latest pregnancy and revealed the creative way the producers managed to hide her growing baby bump in the ITV soap.
‘We started with a mug and then moved on to a bag and last week, I kid you not, with a Ford Fiesta!’ he told him about Lorraine.
She explained with a laugh that the producers would ask for a car to be moved further down the street for the sole purpose of covering her belly.
The TV personality added that she only has a few weeks of filming left before she goes on maternity leave.
“There are a couple of weeks of filming left, I think this could be my last trip to London,” he said.
