Jenna Ortega transformed into the daughter of Winona Ryder’s iconic Beetlejuice character Lydia Deetz on Tuesday while filming the highly anticipated sequel in East Corinth, Vermont.
The 20-year-old actress was seen cycling down the street in a distressed, striped sweater dress and black knee-high boots.
The Wednesday star had a serious look on her face as she rode her bike down Main Street in the same original town with the instantly recognizable red bridge from the 1988 Tim Burton cult classic.
Last week, the Scream alum filmed a wedding scene with her on-screen mom when Ryder finally reprized her role of Lydia Deetz, some 36 years after the original.
A release date for the highly anticipated sequel was confirmed in May; Beetlejuice 2 is expected to premiere sometime in 2024.

Since the sequel is apparently set in the fall, she wore a sweater dress with red, navy and lavender stripes.
The garment had rips across the torso to reveal a black camisole she wore underneath and she also accessorized the look with a metallic waist belt.
Under her edgy lace-up boots, she bundled up with knitted socks.
While filming the scene, Ortega wore her dark brown, collarbone-length hair in a half-up, half-down style.
She wore a minimal makeup look for a fresh look.
A red roof was built on top of the bridge to resemble the one in the first film. “Welcome to Winter River” signs were also placed next to the bridge to greet people entering the city.
The quaint town was also aptly decorated for Halloween.

It’s not yet known if the rest of the cast – including Ryder, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Jeffrey Jones, and Catherine O’Hara – will be back for the Burton-led sequel.
According to the synopsis, Beetlejuice – written by Michael McDowell and Warren Skaaren – followed the story of a married couple recently killed in a car accident.
The story begins with the now ghosts – Barbara (Davis) and Adam Maitland (Baldwin) – trapped in their former abode.
In a desperate attempt to prevent their home from being taken over and remodeled by new residents, they enlist the titular bio-exorcist (Keaton) to drive the current family away.
The mischievous Beetlejuice then wreaks havoc on Charles (Jones) and Delia Deetz (O’Hara), as well as their daughter Lydia (Ryder), who is the only one who can see the ghosts.
