Jenna Dewan marked her split from Channing Tatum with a celebratory Instagram post, shedding light on her current mindset.
The Step Up star seemingly indicated she was relieved to have finally settled her divorce by sharing a throwback photo of Nicole Kidman, taken after her divorce from Tom Cruise, to her Instagram Story.
The image of Kidman, 57, showed her looking cheerful as she left her lawyer’s office after legally ending her 11-year marriage to the Mission: Impossible actor, 62.
In a separate post uploaded to her Instagram grid, Dewan shared a slideshow of recent photos, featuring photos of her with her fiancé Steve Kazee and their baby daughter, Rhiannon.
She captioned the photos, “Thank you universe.”

Dewan’s posts came a day after news broke of her divorce settlement and the end of her and Tatum’s controversial lawsuit over the Magic Mike franchise.
Talks between the exes stalled for years as the former spouses fought over intellectual property and the division of the money Tatum makes from the hit film franchise.
Although the details of the settlement are not public, the couple signed a binding judgment this week that permanently resolves the dispute.
This means that the lawsuit between the fighting exes, which was scheduled for December, now no longer exists.
If Tatum or Dewan have a dispute over custody in the future, they have agreed to work it out privately with a judge, according to court documents submitted to an LA judge.
Both also mutually agreed to waive spousal support from each other.
Dewan and Tatum married after meeting on the set of the 2006 film Step Up.
They announced their split in a joint statement on social media in 2018, saying there were “no secrets or lascivious events behind our decision.”
“Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love each other, but love is a beautiful adventure that will take us on different paths for now,” the exes said in the statement.
Her post came on the same day news broke that she and Tatum had finally resolved their divorce and the controversial lawsuit over the Magic Mike franchise.
While the couple officially became single in November 2019, their divorce proceedings stalled due to Tatum’s lucrative Magic Mike deals stemming from the 2012 hit film.
The Hartford, Connecticut-born actress kept the money she used during their 10-year marriage to fund the Magic Mike franchise, which includes two sequels, a reality TV show on HBO called Finding Magic Mike and a live show in Vegas.
Tatum and the film’s director, Steven Soderbergh, co-financed the project. The film was largely based on Tatum’s own previous experiences as a stripper in Florida.
Their $7 million investment became a blockbuster, earning $167 million worldwide.
Famed attorney Samantha Spector, who represents Dewan, wrote in court documents that Tatum’s legal team “has deprived Jenna of a fair and equal share of the community property, and he favors her every day this case continues.”
Spector estimated that the Magic Mike business is “a potential billion-dollar asset.”
She also shared a slideshow of photos with her family and baby daughter, Rhiannon Lee Kathryn Kazee, whom she welcomed in June
“Thank you universe,” she captioned the post

Tatum’s attorney, Jacqueline Combs, insisted that the Magic Mike franchise made most of its money after the actor and Dewan had already parted ways.
The actor said in the lawsuits that he always agreed to his ex getting a share of Magic Mike’s proceeds.
“I have never denied her share of the community’s assets or income,” the 44-year-old star wrote. ‘Her claims that I ‘conspired with third parties’ are completely false.
“She has had full access to all our financial records for all activities during our marriage and since the divorce. I will continue to keep her informed of Magic Mike’s financial affairs.’
The former Step It Up co-stars share a daughter, 11-year-old Everly, of whom they have 50/50 custody, both agreeing in February 2020.
Tatum is engaged to actress and director Zoë Kravitz, 35, and stars in her directorial debut Blink Twice.

Dewan has been engaged to actor Steve Kazee, 48, since 2020. Dewan and Kazee are parents to Callum, four, and daughter Rhiannon.
The actress posted “Thank you universe” to her Instagram on Wednesday along with a smiling selfie – a day after she and Tatum signed the final divorce agreement.
