Jenna Coleman turns heads in a striking metallic grey gown as she attends Chioma Nnadi’s first issue of British Vogue launch party

Jenna Coleman cut a stylish figure in a gray dress at the launch party for Chioma Nnadi’s first issue of British Vogue as editor-in-chief on Thursday.

The actress, 37, looked stunning in the striking metallic gray dress with dramatic puff sleeves and a cinched waist.

She elevated her body with a pair of chunky black heels as she posed for photos at the event.

Jenna styled her brunette locks in loose waves and applied a glamorous makeup palette, including smokey eyeshadow and a touch of bold red lipstick.

Celebrities flocked to Ladbroke Hall in Notting Hill to celebrate Chioma’s first issue since she replaced Edward Enninful, the outgoing editor-in-chief.

Jenna also posed with Zawe Ashton and Oliver Jackson-Cohen at the party as they supported the former US editor, who moved to Britain following her new role.

Chioma is known as the ‘nicest person at Vogue’, before the announcement an insider told The Times: ‘Chioma is a great choice. She is serious and smart and really knows her stuff. She doesn’t let herself be fooled.’

“Chioma is no longer the terrifying fashion editor of old,” says another Condé Nast insider.

‘She’s quite shy one-on-one and very calm. She’s one of those people who pauses before answering a question.”

While one veteran fashion PR said: ‘Off the record, (Nnadi) is the nicest person I’ve ever dealt with at Vogue.’

Her mixed and multicultural background makes her stand out in the fashion world, she says.

During her speech at the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2018, she claimed, “I look around too often. . . fashion week and I’m one of the few black and brown faces. Black creatives are underrepresented at every level. . . Racism is a systemic problem’.
