Jenna Bush Hager reveals her friend MADE OUT with a Secret Service agent
Jenna Bush Hager revealed that she once had a girlfriend make out with a Secret Service agent reminiscing about how Katie Holmes called her when she was preparing for her role in the movie First Daughter in the early s.
The Today star, 41, sat down with Holmes and Julia Mayorga to talk about their new movie Rare Objects Wednesday’s show when her co-host Hoda Kotb brought up the 2004 rom-com.
“When you’re researching a role, you’re researching a role,” Kotb told Holmes. “And I don’t know if you remember playing a first daughter… I want to bring you back, because that was very important.
‘So here it is. Jenna happened to be a first daughter at the time. And Katie, during your research, did you ever contact a young lady named Jenna Bush? And try to get some information?’

“I think so,” the actress replied with a smile.
In the film, Holmes played Samantha MacKenzie, the daughter of the US president, who unknowingly falls in love with the undercover Secret Service agent who was assigned to protect her father while she attended college.
Looking for some insight into the character, she contacted Bush Hager, whose father, former President George W. Bush, served as Supreme Commander from 2001 to 2009.
When Holmes was researching the role, the real one first daughter attended the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in English.
Hilariously, when the Dawson’s Creek star called Bush Hager, she was looking at the actress in the teen drama.
“I was with my roommates in college, we watched Dawson’s Creek — I’m not kidding — we turned it off and I thought… ‘Who called me from LA?'” she recalled.

“I listened to the message and it was Katie and I was too embarrassed. I also mean, if you had come to do research, you would have said, “Wow, this was kind of boring.”‘
Bush Hager acknowledged that her life wasn’t as exciting as it was in the movie, but she admitted that the Secret Service storyline wasn’t all wrong.
“I’ve never fallen in love with a Secret Service man,” she clarified. “But I did let a friend have sex with it.”
The hosts and their guests burst into laughter at the revelation.
“I’m sure you did,” Holmes replied. I mean, that seems like a friend’s job.’
“Not suitable for me, but a friend will,” the former first daughter added to the kissing session.

At the end of the interview, Bush Hager apologized to Holmes for never answering her phone call two decades ago.
“Why, because you were ashamed?” Kotb asked.
“Well, my real life didn’t match the movie,” Bush Hager explained. “The investigation would have been… gross.”
Holmes shared that First Daughter was “such a fun movie to do,” and said she still looked to Bush Hager for inspiration even though they never connected.
“I was just like, ‘How’s that?’ To wear that – you wore it so beautifully,” she told the Today host.
“I’m going to cry,” Bush Hager gushed.
“We’ve got a moment,” Kotb remarked.
“It’s a girls’ party,” Holmes added with a smile.
