Jenelle Evans CUTS OFF her mother after she claimed the Teen Mom star’s son Jace disappeared because he was not given his ADHD meds
Jenelle Evans is dealing with more family drama. Her son Jace, 14, went missing earlier this week but was thankfully found safely.
After Jace was found, Jenelle’s mother Barbara spoke TMZ to express her concerns about her grandson.
She blamed the runaway incident on her daughter’s alleged decision to take Jace off his ADHD meds.
Jenelle, 31, took to Instagram to explain: ‘Cut my own mother off again, and she has to get on with the articles. Doesn’t call to check, doesn’t ask how he’s doing, just talk to TMZ to give updates she doesn’t know about.
“Please don’t believe anything my mom is saying to the media right now. The truth will prevail and I will soon tell you when it is time to write,” she added.
Barbara also claimed that the Teen Mom alum stopped Jace’s therapy sessions, a claim Jenelle also refuted.

“Barbara hasn’t had any contact with Jace since Monday. I cut off contact with her every 3 weeks,” she wrote in an earlier post.
“Barbara has no idea what’s going on in my house. Jace had an appointment with a therapist on Zoom today at 10:30am…she hasn’t even tried to talk to Jace directly.”
Jenelle regained custody of her oldest child in March. Before that, her mother raised him.
Barbara also told TMZ that she’s not interested in getting custody of Jace back, “because she’s getting older and his behavior is getting to be too much for her.”
The teenager did not come home from school on Thursday, prompting authorities in Brunswick County, North Carolina, to launch a search for him.
Jenelle claimed her son ran off after his phone was taken from him following trouble at school and made it clear it had nothing to do with her rocky relationship with husband David Eason.
“As a boy mom, kids can act and rebel like I’m sure most of us did as kids at some point,” she told TMZ.
“Jace, got in trouble at school, we decided to take his phone and then he decided to run away, Jace is a good kid and we don’t have anything to do that most families don’t have to deal with in raising kids, this has absolutely nothing to do with my situation with David, we don’t argue in front of our kids or fight in front of our kids. This is a teenage boy who is angry that we decided to take his phone away.’
It was originally reported that Jace was found thanks to the SnapChat app on his phone reporting his location – the same phone Jenelle claimed to have taken.
